Just the Way you Are

Drowsy (extended)

From my Fluffbruary 2022 collection. :)

Hetty was busy working on paperwork when she sniffed food.

'That take out smells good.' She sleepily said.

'You've been working for a while, and you haven't eaten in a bit. Just looking out for you.' Granger replied.

Smiling sweetly, Hetty put her pen down and moved over to the couch to eat.

'Didn't think you'd still be working this late.' Granger remarked.

'Didn't think I would either, but (yawn) here I am.' Hetty replied.

'How about we go home after we finish eating? You can finish this all in the morning.'

'You sure?'

'You look like you're ready to fall asleep right now.'

Hetty knew she couldn't argue with that.

After they finished eating, they went home, and Hetty fell asleep right after hitting the pillow.

The next morning

'Ohhh, you made breakfast?' Hetty asked when she came downstairs.

'Yeah, with how tired you were last night, and with the paperwork you have to finish, figured I'd help you out.' Granger replied.

'Well, that's very sweet of you! And it smells like you didn't burn the bacon this time!'

'Hey, that last time was just an accident!'

Hetty wasn't convinced.
