Another fic from my BTH Bingo collection. Enjoy!

Hetty and Granger went on a week long vacation to Hawaii. They were having so much fun, she didn't want it to end.

The night before they were supposed to fly home, she saw a shooting star, and wished she and Granger could stay a bit longer.

The next day

'Ready to go, dear?' Hetty asked.

'We're not going anywhere. There's a big storm coming today, our flight isn't coming today.' Granger replied.

'Oh. Well, let's go do something until the storm hits!'

'It's coming in a few hours. We need to board up this place and get other things.'

They spent the next few hours boarding up the place and getting extra flashlights and candles and food.

Then when the storm hit, the power went out.

In a candle lit living room

Granger saw that Hetty looked really sad.

'You feeling okay?'

'Sigh. I feel responsible for this.' Hetty replied.

'Why?'

'I've been enjoying this trip so much, I made a wish last night to extend this trip by a couple of days. And now this storm hit. Sigh. I know this seems silly, but, did I curse this trip?' Hetty asked.

'(Chuckle), Actually, I'm the one responsible for us being stuck here.'

'How so?'

'A few days ago, I got wind of this storm coming. I know that if you found out, you'd want to go home. So, I ditched the radio, and hoped the storm would pass. Then I got the call last night. I've been feeling guilty all day.' Granger said.

Silence.

'You're not mad, right?'

'A bit annoyed that you could've told me before we got stranded in a big storm, but mad? No. We've both been enjoying our time here, we both didn't want to leave. And look what that's gotten us!' Hetty said.

'Ironic, isn't it?'

'Sigh. Well, in case this is our last night alive, 1 last intimate night together? These candles do make for quite the romantic setting.'

'Start kissing me before I lose my nerve.'

The next day

'Good news, we're still alive!' Hetty groggily said.

'I can tell, you haven't worn deodorant in a couple days and I can faintly smell your arm pits.' Granger replied.

Hetty chuckled.

'We should start thinking of ways to get back home now.'

'We definitely should.'
