'Hey dear, how was your doctor's appointment?' Hetty asked her husband.
'Fine.' Granger responded.
'Clean bill of health?'
'Clean bill of health.'
That evening at dinner
'What's with the spinach on the stake?' Granger asked.
'Just something new I'm trying, we could all stand to eat a little healthier. ' Hetty replied.
Granger suspected she already knew.
'You didn't speak to my doctor behind my back, right?'
'Didn't have to, your grumpiness all day gives it away. What's wrong?' Hetty asked.
'Sigh. There was a, suggestion that I should start including healthier stuff in my diet.
'And, why is that so bad?' Hetty asked.
'Because I'm worried that my loving wife is going to force me to eat healthy stuff against my will.'
'And, why would she do that?'
'Because she cares too much.'
Hetty smiled. 'I do. But, I'm not that kind of forceful wife. I trust you to make your own health choices.'
'You sure? You're not going to sneak any more green stuff in our dinners, or try to make me drink those disgusting green protein shakes?'
'Can't promise that I won't try to sneak spinach in any more meals, But I trust you to make your own drinking choices.' Hetty replied.
'Good, because the minute you try to make me drink your tea, or those gross green protein shakes that taste like horse radish, I'm jumping out of the nearest window.'
Hetty smirked. 'Must you be so dramatic?'
'You're the same way.' Granger responded.
'Touche'
