Hetty had been away for a few days, and Granger welcomed her home with a bedroom snuggle fest.
She didn't want to admit it much, but being in the strong, loving arms of the man she loved in such an intimate way, made her feel more relaxed and more at peace in the world then all her years as a spy and her years as an Operations Manager.
She nuzzled her nose into his chest, breathed a deep a deep sigh, and said: 'I may not say this much, but being here, in this moment, with you, feels more relaxing to me then training or catching bad guys.'
Stroking her soft brunette hair, 'I feel it too. I've never felt it with any other woman before.' Granger replied.
'Feels like time stands still when we're like this.'
'Until the phone rings or our alarm clocks go off.'
'Ugh. Those 2.' Hetty groaned.
'I have to go to the bathroom, so can you please move?'
'I'll be waiting for you when you get out.'
Except she dozed off before he got out.
He chuckled, made sure she was tucked in, and whispered 'I love you'. Then went to sleep.
