'Is the cake ready?' Hetty asked the cook.

'The cake is ready, madam.' The cook replied.

'Thank you.'

It was a very important day for her and Granger, and she wanted to make it as special as she could.

Well, it would be special if her husband would show up or at least call because he was close to running late!

'Where the hell are you?! Tonight is a very important night for us, and if you're late for this, I swear I will boil your watch!' Hetty shouted when she left call number #3 on Granger's phone.

A few minutes later, Eric called her.

'Yes, Mr. Beale?'

'I found Granger. Though, you're going to want to get over there in a hurry.' Eric responded.

Somewhere in LA, being held at gun point

Granger was trying to talk himself out of a bloody situation.

'Look man, you don't want to do this.'

'And why shouldn't I?' The mugger asked.

'Because if you shoot me, my wife will hunt you down, and she's not the kind of person you mess with and live to tell the tale.'

'Phhht. I'm not afraid of whoever your wife is.'

'Okay. Just don't be surprised if she decides to torture you before she ultimately kills you.' Granger said, trying to buy time.

'Dude, you're not serious.' The mugger wasn't convinced.

'Oh. I'm dead serious. She really hates it when bad guys mess with the people she loves. So much so, she's willing to pick their teeth out, pull out their fingers and bite their ears off just to get her version of justice.'

'Look you fool. I have a hard time believing that you're married to some kind of psycho, now just hand over that bag so I don't have to shoot you!'

CLANK! The mugger fell to the ground after getting hit with a baseball bat.

'Good timing. I was running out of things to talk about.' Granger said.

'Sure. Just, please try to avoid these situations in the future, as I can't always be at hand to save your ass with a baseball bat.' Hetty dryly replied.

Granger smirked. 'Good luck with that.'

At home

'So, why is this day so important to us?' Granger asked.

Hetty showed him a big ring shaped cake with the words 'Will you marry me?' written in icing.

'You proposed to me on this day.' Hetty said, beaming.

'Ohhh right! Didn't think you'd remember.'

'Why would I forget the day you surprised me with wanting to spend the rest of your life with me?'

'Because of how awkward it was? I stumbled on a few words, I was nervous, I wasn't sure if you'd say yes.' Granger said.

'Was it awkward?' Yes. Did I find it touching that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me? Yes! On this day, you asked me a question that I thought would never be asked to me, and I said yes.' Hetty replied.

'How lucky am I to have a wife that remembers these things?' Granger mused. 'I'm glad you remembered.'

'And I'm glad I said yes!'
