10: first date

Jungkook had collected himself and was currently walking to the place he asked to meet up. again very late on the day but it was okay, taehyung said he didn't mind. In the distance Jungkook could see a figure sitting on the bench watching the water silently. He smiled when he recognized taehyung's features.

"Hello Taehyung," he said. The boy turned around, a little shocked by the sudden voice but he smiled back when he saw it was Just jungkook.

"Hey Kook, ah i mean Jungkook, sorry it just slipped" taehyung chuckled a little embarrassed.

"dont worry about it, you can call me whatever you like" Jungkook sat down next to the other. glad to see him again.

"keke okay" taehyung chuckled.

"uhm i uh, i wasn't sure what to bring but i wanted to give you something so i uhm...i got a rose for you" Jungkook said feeling nervous suddenly he extended his hand which held the deep red rose. shaking a little.

"ahw, that's so sweet, thank you!" taehyung smiled. "it's the same rose as you buy everytime"

"yes, i think it is very pretty"

"it is, it is. thank you i will take it with me home"

"So...uhm...how was your day?" Jungkook tried to ask the questions he had read online not knowing what to do and ask. He never had a girl or boyfriend before so he felt nervous.

"It was like the usual. i was mostly looking forward to seeing you again" taehyung chuckled cutely , it made the raven smile lovingly. the raven looked so soft at him as if he would melt. "and you, how was your day?" taehyung found it very cute seeing jungkook nervous. It made him like the other even more. He didn't think Jungkook would be the nervous type. He thought it would be himself but it seems he wasn't the most nervous here.

"I uh...it was alright, nothing special" he said, not able to think of a good lie so fast.

"What's on your hand?" taehyung asked looking at the other seeing a few red spots.

"oh, it's nothing" jungkook quickly moved his hand out of sight. He didn't notice blood splattered on his hand. it must be from when he knocked the guards out. Taehyung shouldn't know, he can't know. The less he knew, the better.

"okay...'' Taehyung was confused by the reaction. Jungkook seemed to be definitely hiding something.

"sorry if i'm awkward I've never been on a date before so i'm just nervous, i really like you and dont want to mess this up..." jungkook looked down he felt like he was not doing well, he didn't feel like the date was going somewhere, he just didn't know what to do. How does he act normal? It was hard for him to be normal and relaxed, he rarely had time to relax like this, but knowing he was risking so much he felt on edge all the time.

"Its fine, don't worry so much. It's only my third date so I'm also nervous. I am enjoying my time, relax. you're fine" taehyung smiled and grabbed jungkook's hand gently giving him the assuring squeeze and look.

"how about we.. go on a little walk?"

"sure!'' The two stood up and walked over the path next to the water. Taehyung doesn't need expensive gifts or dinner when he is asked on a date. just being together was enough, he wanted to know the other and not have too much distraction. so this was perfect for him. they were alone, he got a small simple gift for the idea and they could just talk together calmly.

"If i ever act weird please forgive me, i dont always know what i am doing...'' Jungkook said feeling the need to tell the others.

"What do you mean?"

"i uhm..tend to act strange. but dont worry i dont mean it to you. i wouldn't hurt you, i wouldn't. please dont be scared of me, i am a good person, i really am!" jungkook said but wen he was saying this he remembered all the people he had killed, and the blood that was still on his hand from this same evening. he came here after dirtying his hand with murder. how does he even dare show his face here and act all innocent.

he wasnt a good person.. he was a murderer.

"I-ik a good person... i didn't want to.." jungkook mumbled spacing out again. he stopped walking and stared at the path tiles in front of him.

"Jungkook, are you okay?" Taehyung noticed the other and placed a hand on his back trying to make eye contact. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"I-im a good person, okay, I am good. I won't hurt you, dont fear me please"

"I'm not scared of you, why would i?" Taehyung chuckled, in his eyes Jungkook didn't seem like a bad person, it looked more like he had something mental that was bothering him.

"Sorry, please forget what happened. i don't want you to see it"

"Jungkook, please feel relaxed with me to be yourself, i don't judge."

"others would be scared of me, i scare people away"

"Not me, I just think you need a big hug." Taehyung chuckled, actually saying it a little jokingly but when Jungkook looked up with big puppy eyes at him he realised that it was actually something Jungkook needed.

"a...hug?:" jungkook couldn't remember the last time he had gotten an actual warm hug. He was so frozen that he did not notice the other was hugging him until he felt the body warmth of taehyung around him. His shocked hands slowly placed them on taehyung's back holding him as well. "a hug..." he repeated but this time with a small smile. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the hold of the other. It made him feel so warm and safe. His arms tightened around Taehyung. he can't let Taehyung go...he will be his.... he can't have anyone steal him away.... taehyung was HIS.

Taehyung was about to let go but jungkook didn't let go of him.

"just a little longer.. please"

"Okay" Taehyung smiled. There was something about Jungkook that attracted him. Maybe it was the confused but sweet behaviour, maybe the way he could see jungkook was struggling with something. Whatever it was, Taehyung really likes him, and he will do his best to make the others more comfortable so he can get to know Jungkook more. and help him with whatever it is. He cares for jungkook.
