"WHAT THE F-CK, KASSIE?!"
I glared at him.
"Lance! Watch that mouth!"
He glared at me as well.
"Watch my mouth?! Then watch your actions, lady!"
I jumped when he shouted at me, growled as well.
"You can't tell me what to do! You don't own me!" I said while still glaring at him. Forgetting the other person that was still in the room also.
"I own you the moment I claimed you! You are mine, Kassandra. I won't let no one change that." He said while glaring at Toby as well.
He took a step forward at me, until he was at the side of my bed.
"Leave." He said, voice filled with authority.
And I knew that he was pertaining to Toby.
I sighed and let it be. I nodded my head to Toby and he took the hint, he left the room.
I sighed again.
"Look, Lance, I'm sorry okay? Yes, that was a bit immature—"
"A bit?" He asked, sarcasm clear in his voice. He popped an eyebrow up.
I sighed again, this time because of annoyance and frustration.
"That was immature and foolish and.... well, I'm sorry. I-I—- I just got in the moment, you know?" I stared at him.
He looked at me for a while before his eyes soften and he sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"Kassie, I need to know just one thing."
I stared at him with a look that said spill.
"Do you love Toby?"
Do I love Toby?
I unknowingly bent my head and smiled to myself, knowing the answer too well.
I looked up at him, again.
"Yes, Lance. I love Toby."
He was shocked, and disbelief was written all over his face.
