Thanks for stopping by and reading this.

This is now my Christmas gift to all of you guys!

"What, baby?" That was all I could muster.

Kathy frowned at me more. But instead of asking me, she turned to face Lance.

"Can I caw chu my dwaddy?"

My eyes widen in shock.

"Wait, baby, I think it's no--"

"I think that's a great idea."

I turn to gape at Lance.

What was he doing?! He's making everything much more complicated for me!

"What are you--"

"Yey!" I was cutted off by my daughter's cheer.

She ran and hugged Lance, tightly, by the neck.

Oh God, oh God.

"Now, that's a pretty sight. Phin, why don't you apply as Kathy's father? You seem perfect for the position."

I froze upon hearing my what my mom said.

I just relaxed when I heard Lance chuckle.

Even just his voice... Just by that it could calm me.

"Well, if your daughter is up to it, why not." He said then I turn to look at his smiling face.

I would smile as well, but knowing that what was plastered in his face was fake, I just couldn't force my lips to curl up.

"But then, I think Toby was the first one to audition so he got the position. Maybe to another woman, Tita."

My heart clench as I imagine him having a baby with another woman.

I've got to explain to him fast, and to do that I have to put some closure between Toby and I.

"Tita, what did you wanted to tell me?" Lance somehow reminded her mother.

"Oh, yes! As you can see, my husband isn't capable of working in the company, since I trusted you and your father so much because of his friendship with my husband, I would like to ask you to take hold of his position first."

"Can't you handle the company, Tita?" Lance asked with scrunched eyebrows.

"Oh no. I'd like to take care of my husband, myself. "

Lance's face was hesitating but after a few more 'please's' from my mom, he agreed.

"Oh, and I've got another favor to ask from you dear."

Lance nodded as if saying to my mom to continue.

"I'd like you, personally, to train my daughter in handling the company."

I gaped at my mom.

"What?!"

"Yes, hun. Your father can't run the company because of his condition right now. As his only heir to the company, you must start your training."

Mom sighed then continued.

"Y-Your father might not be able to c-continue running the company anymore, hun."

I sighed then hugged her.

"Sshhh. Okay, mom. I'll do it."

A moment of silence passed by.
