Hindi talaga mawawala ang saya sa mukha ko ngayon kasi ngayon ang araw ng date namin ni Kassie.

Isang linggo ko din itong pinaghandaan kasi espesyal ito para sa akin. Lalo na at napaka-espesyal din ng babaeng makakasama ko

o sa araw na ito.

I woke up at around 6 o'clock in the morning and did my round-check calls before I texted Kassie.

"Hey Bro?" Luke, my bestfriend since college, said as he answered the phone. His voice is a little hoarse.

"Sorry for waking you up. But is everything done? I mean from the set up, table, lights, foods, and... Everything.."

I heard his chuckle before answering, "Yes, you woke me up. And Yes, everything is done. Dude, isang linggo ba naman ang ibinigay mo sa amin para sa date na 'to, I think that's a lot more than enough para matapos namin lahat ng yun."

I never did anything on our date. I want it also be a surprise, not only to Kassie, but also to me. Weird right? Oh Well.

I asked my friends to help me. Pero dahil sa binayaran ko sila... That's not considered help now, would it? Wala na daw kasing libre sa mundo. Pssh, mga mukhang pera.

Luke, Spencer and Jason helped me out. Surprisingly, Rence and I haven't seen each other yet. Busy siguro yung gagong yun.

Tsss. Him and his girls. As long as he stay away from my Kassie, he will hear nothing from me!

Rence has this reputation of going out with the sluts and whores of a bar. Sluts and whores, meaning sa mga bayarang babae.

Yeah. Like Kassie. But I'm doing my best to save her. To changed her.

"You can't blame me. This girl's... special to me..."

I heard his chuckle again, but this time its louder. "Jeez, Pierson! You're in love!"

I smiled knowingly to myself before answering back. "That I am." I answered confidently.

We said our goodbyes as I took a warm bath.

After kong magbihis ay kinuha ko ang phone ko para i-text si Kassie. I ended up telling her na I'll pick her up at around 9, an hour than the usual time I texted her last night which is 8 am.

I hurried off to our dating place, smiling ecstaticly running all different forms of scenarios in my head of what will happen later.

I shook my head as I continued driving.

"So everything's fine, right Luke?"

"Yeah buddy. Stop worrying."

"Okay then. Malapit nang mag a-alas nuebe, kailangan ko pang sunduin yung Kassie ko."

I heard Luke chuckle. That bastard. "Dude! She got in you deep! Kassie mo? Stupid!"

Binatukan ko nga. Ako? Stupid? Well, I really wont mind as long as it's with her. Damn! I really love her!

"Stupid? Let's see who's stupid kapag nakaharap mo na ang katapat mo! Titino ka din!"

He just laughed at what I said. "Dude, you're stating the impossible!"

I shook my head. "Let's see Luke."

With that I walked away.

I looked at my wristwatch to check the time. 8:11.

I still have a lot of time since it's a 30 minute drive to Kassie's.
