One week later...

The wind blew in my face as I stepped out of the car. I breathed in the scent and memorized every smell, like it would be the last time I'd do so.

Two pairs of hands grabbed my hand. A pair on my left arm and a pair on my right.

I smiled widely at both of them.

They both left me for a while as I waited for someone.

"Kassie!"

I turned around and I saw my bestfriends - Charms, Andi, and Tanya.

They all engulf me into a tight hug.

"Hoy! Umph-- Hindi ako makahinga!"

"Kassie naman eh!" Charms choked. Sa pagkaka-alam ko, masyadong maiyakin 'tong bestfriend ko.

"Iiwan mo na ba talaga kami?" Tanya said.

I sighed and nodded. "Kailangan eh. I need to find myself again. Tsaka, babalik din naman ako! Sus! Magiging ninang pa kayo ng baby ko!"

My baby... Siya na ngayon ang dahilan kung bakit ko kailangan sumama kina mommy't daddy. I need to stay strong for the both of us.

"Kass, remember to be healthy, ok? At tsaka--"

"No alcohols! Yhep. Alam ko na yan Ands! I'm a good girl na!"

I smiled at them then they, in turn, smiled at me.

"Mamimiss ko kayo..." I said as I got teary-eyed.

They engulfed me in a bone-crushing hug I happily welcomed.

"Hun..." I hear my mom's voice.

I broke our hug and turned to look at my mom.

She smiled at my friends.

You see, before everything was settled, my parents had met my bestfriends and my brothers and sisters. I even cried because they never stopped telling on how much they are so proud of me despite all my past.

Other than my friends, I was glad to know that someone still loved me despite on what I do. And this time, I'm so lucky that it was someone I was blood-related to. Someone like my parents.

"I'm really very sorry to say this... But-" she turned to me. "We have to go, hun."

Those 4 simple words had me on the verge of crying again.

But I managed to held them back as I nodded to my parents and turned to my friends.

"So... Paano... I guess, eto na talaga yun." I started and forced a smile at them.

"B-Bestie... P-Pasalubong namin ha?" I chuckled at what Charms said. Kahit kelan talaga 'tong babaeng 'to!

I only nodded at her.

"A-At tsaka K-Kass... Wag na w-wag mo k-kaming malilimutan ha?" Tanya said and sniffed.

We all looked at each other, then as if on cue, lumabas na yung mga luhang pinipigilan namin.

We hugged each other again as we cried. In that simple moment made me realize how lucky I am despite of all my mishaps. I still have my friends. And now, I have my parents.

Also my baby.

I broke our hug and wiped the tears that's still falling down my eyes.

My mom nodded at me and I looked at them for the final goodbye.
