I sat face to face with the man I never thought I would be in the same room in. I was just so pleased that there are many people in this room or I'll just breakdown and show that vulnerable side of me.
We were seated behind a big, round and wooden desk, occupying most of the chairs. Mr. Smith took the center spot at the far-end corner of the table and we were seated at the sides. Next to both Mr. Smith's sides were both Nick's manager and Jess. Then Nick and me. Our PAs, then the other staffs.
"So, everything's clear now? Tomorrow 8 am we will meet up at the lobby and the company's van would take us there. We would be staying there for two to three days tops. Any disagreements or complaints?" Mr. Smith - Yes. He is the CEO of the company - asked.
All of us shook our heads.
He clapped then smiled broadly.
"Great! Then I'll meet you all here tomorrow. Meeting ajourned."
With that all of them stood up except me. I still can't believe I'm doing this.
When all of them got out, I slowly stood up and exited the room.
Whatever happens, happens. I just won't let it bother me.

This can't be freakin' happening.
I woke up late - as a start - and as I went into the shower I forgot to adjust the temperature so it was freakishly cold.
Next, I slipped when I got out of the shower, got an aching butt and hip as I dressed and basically got scolded by Jess for being late.
But this, was the far worst ever.
Once I arrived, all of them were seated inside the van. There are two vans - one for me and my staff and the other for Nick's. When I was about to climbed on to my designated van, all of the seats available were occupied, so I have no choice but to see if the other van has a seat available for me.
I was praying that there was none. Or probably just one in the back, anything that's just far away from him.
So when I asked the driver if there was a seat available, my face lit up the moment he said yes and it's in the very back.
The one thing that's making it worse?
There was a seat, yes, but next to it was where Nick was sitting.
This is by far the worst morning ever.
I hopped on in and immediately the car started.
Ako lang naman kasi yung hinihintay eh.
I sighed at the thought.
"So much for being a pro." I heard him say.
"Excuse me?"
"Wala."
I took a deep breath and looked at him.
"Listen, I don't care on whatever had been going on with us in our past. It's all behind us now and I want it to stay that way. Let's be civilized towards each other. Better yet, pretend you haven't known me before." I said before I turned away from him and closed my eyes.
Letting sleep consume me.

Remember that I have just told you that what happened just an hour or so is I think the worst ever? Well. Scratch that.
