In the darkness I found myself,
again, I found myself in it as it grew.
It grew but not in mass,
in masses it expanded.
The darkness multiplied until everything was engulfed in it,
swallowed through and through, and forever gone--
stability, sanity, serenity--
gulped it down till no trace was more to be seen.
In the darkness I stayed myself,
again, I chose to stay as I let it grow.
