anger is stiffling
the jaw tenses in a way your teeth hate
it squares your shoulders like a soldier
your voice tightens that of a villain
and the entire world is your enemy
even those you love
the world turns red and everyone is an annoyance
an obstacle to serenity
then the sadness takes over
and your eyes want to weep rivers of despair
for you have no clue why the anger ever regained control of your body
