Quite literally,
a faint releases a whisper.A secret to the bystander,
as they watch you fall down,
and hit your head on the concrete.A breath for yourself,
as your head tries to work properly,
and bring your body back up to its feet.A knowing stare from your mother,
as she knows your health habits,
and your eyes rolling back is nothing new.Sure,
time is scarce,
but your life is at stake. With the fall,
you hear as you faint,
a mocking whisper in the back of your head:"One of these days,
you won't stand back up."
