a song in disguise often sounds so luring,
so soothing you can't stop playing it on repeat.you hear to the words,
without listening to it's meaning—
the notes are so comforting,
you forget that it's song and not just music.is there much of a difference?
well of course,
you listen to music,
get filled with emotions,
and your first impression is:
"woah."but do you ever actually listen to the words;
the menacing words of sadness,
anger,
and control issues.the voice is filled with frustration,
and pain.despite the melody of your song,
you fail to remember,
the majors are a mask to your minors,
and the chords will disguise your song.a song in disguise often sounds so luring,
to any person just passing by.but you're out in the street for a reason,
your strum of the guitar begs to be heard,
and yet ignored.your voice calls out for anyone to understand—
to feel what your words call for;
the incoherence of your words which you scribbled so frantically late at night...and yet no one stops to watch you cry out for help.
