Bon Jovi's 'Livin On A Prayer' was roaring out of Delilah's boombox on the corner of her room. She was dancing around and Steve found it ridiculous. "This ? This is your favourite ?" he asked as she nodded, continued mouthing the words and shaking her hair around. "We'll give it a shot" she shouted before dropping to her knees, she was playing an imaginary guitar, really getting into it before realising The part was coming then ran over and held out her hand. "You've got to do it" she said since she knew the lyric seconds away. "I'm not doing it" he said but he just had to look at her, she was beaming from ear to ear and he didn't want to be the one to make her stop,within milliseconds he was standing up and holding her hand. "Take my hand, we'll make it I swear, woahhhhh livin on a prayer" they shouted at each-other as the song came to a stop. "Best start to the day" she announced before trying to catch her breath.

"This fucking song ? Again ? Delilah it's too early for my ears to be bleeding-Steve ?" Dustin said before furrowing his eyebrows once seeing the man infront of him. "W-what is going on ?" Dustin then asked but he couldn't help but smile. "No longer on a break, not official though" Delilah said, smiling back wider at him as the boy tried to stop himself from screaming with joy. "Okay, alright, I'm happy" he said before exiting the room so he could tell Susie everything and be happy for them in private. Steve looked at the clock before making a face. "Better go get ready for work. Keith won't be happy if I'm late" he joked as the girl pretended to look sad. "Don't forget, I'm driving today" she said through a devious smile as he nodded. "How could I ?" before climbing out the window and sliding down the drainpipe to get to this car.

She sat with her mother and brother watching T.V with their new cat who's name had been a KitKat-Tews-CatCat-Mews2 for two weeks before eventually settling on Tews. "Steve's car was in my driveway this morning" Lil said suspiciously but she couldn't help but smile, she adored seeing her children happy. "Must've been at a party nearby" she lied as the woman nodded. "He must have superpowers because if he was at this party, he was sliding down my drainpipe ten minutes ago, I thought the thing was coming off the wall" she joked as Delilah smirked and laid back on the couch to pretend to be shocked by whatever the news was until the reporter appeared to be in what looked like Eddie's trailer park.

"We're in the Forest Hills trailer park in east Roane County. We don't have a lot of details right now but we can confirm that the body of a Hawkins High student was discovered early this morning. Police have not yet released the victims name although we have been told they are in the process of notifying the victims family"

"I can't take it. My heart can't take it" Lil Henderson said while holding her beloved cat closer to her. "We go to school with whoever the person is" Delilah said in shock as Lil nodded. "The terror I'd feel if you two weren't sitting next to me right now. I don't even want to imagine-" she began until she was interrupted by a knock at the door. Dustin answered it and five seconds later appeared with Max. "Delilah, Max has something she wants to tell you" Dustin said trying to put on an act infront of their often clueless mother. "Girl stuff" Max said through an awkward smile as they turned to go upstairs. "Leave the girls talk Dusty" their mother said, still glued to the television as Dustin nodded. "We're partners for Biology, we have work to do" he lied as Delilah got up and they all went to her room.

"Get out and let her tell me then if it's girl stuff" Delilah scolded as Dustin face-palmed. "That was a bluff-" he began as she rolled her eyes. "A ploy ?" she asked as Dustin told Max to start whenever she was ready.

"Chrissy Cunningham, you're sure it was Chrissy ?" Dustin asked while pacing as Max nodded. "Yes, she was in her cheerleader outfit, the same thing she was wearing when I saw her with Eddie" Max explained as Dustin kept pacing, it was making his sister dizzy. "Did you tell all this to the cops ?" Dustin asked the copper haired girl shook her head. "But I can't be the only one who saw them together... they stood out" she continued as Dustin tried to process it all. "Eddie the freak and Chrissy the cheerleader ?" he asked in shock as Max began pacing too. "Exactly, y'know, his names not in the news yet or anything-" Max began as Delilah stood up. "I saw them" she said quietly. "What ?" Dustin asked confused. "I saw them" she repeated, not understanding if he was deaf or not processing it. "Where ? There was no way Chrissy Cunningham was somewhere public with Eddie" he said dumbfounded as she nodded. "She wasn't" she said, still quietly as they both turned to look at her, ready for the story.
