"What are you two perverts doing ?" the Henderson girl joked upon passing her brother and the douchebag bent down behind a plant with a pair of binoculars. "Shh" Dustin hissed before dragging her down so she was bent down with them. "I'm going to be late to jazzcersise" she began through a sigh but was interrupted by Steve. "Oh you've got to be kidding me" he said which alerted Dustin so he made his sister come down to their level. "What ? What is it ?" he asked, he was excited while she sat cross-legged on the floor unamused. All she was asked to do was deliver an extra pair of tights to her Aunt Melissa who was taking part in the class but she was now on the grubby floor with two idiots.

"It's Anna Jacobi, she's talking to that meat-head Mark Lewinsky" he said as Delilah shrugged. "Weren't they like a secret couple before school got out ?" she said trying to pick through her vault of information from being so quiet in school and people either not noticing or not caring enough about her presence that they just spoke freely.  "If you're not going to focus just give me the binoculars. This is serious" Dustin said obviously not caring about Steve's discovery.

"Beats me Delilah but Jesus Christ, what ever happened to standards ? I mean Lewinsky never even came off the bench" Steve said refusing to remove the binoculars so he could watch the scene unfold. "Not everyone cares about that shit. Some people like people for who they are" she said but was ignored. "You're the worst spy in history. Y'know that ?" Dustin said, clearly annoyed that Steve had gotten distracted by Anna Jacobi and Mark Lewinsky's love affair. They began tugging the binoculars but eventually Dustin got them.

"Besides, I don't even know why you're looking at girls when you've got the perfect one right infront of you" he said, Delilah could feel her face heating up. Maybe he didn't believe her when she said she didn't like him, maybe she put on too much of a performance for it to be seen as factual. However now she was going to be exposed and Steve was going to hate her because she was so far from his type it was laughable. "Seriously Dustin, if you say Robin" he began as Dustin said the name Robin and Delilah felt her heart slowly sink. Steve liked Robin ? This was it for her. She never had a chance she thought, it wasn't as if she had much of one to begin with but she felt as if the pair of them had ripped out her heart, played a game of American football with it and were not squashing it into a million pieces right in-front of her.

Dustin went on to taunt him, continuously repeating the name Robin as Steve covered his ears and shouted no. This reminded Delilah of the time she got her first job at Palace Arcades. She got it purely because Keith was infatuated by her and while trying to beat his high score at Dig Dug once it closed, he tried to distract her by throwing popcorn at her and taunting her with the name Steve as she shouted the word no. She still beat him though. It was painfully obvious that she was disconnected from what was going on.

"No man. She's not my type. She's not even in the ballpark of what my type is, alright ?" he said as Delilah's head snapped up. "That's just plain rude" she snapped. She knew if Robin wasn't his type then her chances were decreasing by the second but she wasn't even going to let an opportunity arise because she was pushing her feelings for him down into the pit of her stomach. She had been for months but they kept creeping up when she didn't want them to. "Oh I'm sorry, what's your type again ? Not awesome" Dustin said while looking at him before looking at his sister on the other side of him and shaking his head. "For your information, she's weird. She's a weirdo and she's hyper and I don't like that she's hyper and she did drama, that's a bad look"
he said before making eye contact with Delilah abs then quickly remembered they were best friends and stopped talking.

"Now that you've left high school which means you're technically an adult. Don't you think it's time you move on from primitive constructs such as popularity ?" Dustin said while nudging his sister so it was became crystal clear to her that Dustin was indeed listening to her last night and he, in fact, did not believe her. "Oh, primitive constructs ? That some shit you learned at Camp Know...Nothing ?" Steve asked as Dustin shook his head. "No, that's where you and Lilah were headed after summer school in Freshmen Year. And no actually, shit I learned from life" he said as Steve and Delilah almost at the same time just went "hm"

"Instead of dating someone you think will make you cooler, why not date someone you actually like being around like Delilah said" her brother preached before lightly kicking her again, not even looking at her. He really had been listening to her but it made zero sense to her as to why he was bringing up the topic she briefly touched on the night before. It also made no sense to her that she was sat there in the first place and why they were talking about Steve and Robin. She knew Robin did definitely like Steve in High School and now he worked with her but she still felt jealous. No, she couldn't call it that. She didn't like him after all.

"Like me and Susie" Dustin used as a reference which Delilah couldn't help but laugh at, it was weird seeing her baby brother so completely and utterly besotted by someone and seeing them together confirmed it. "Oh Susie. Yeah, you mean, hotter than Phoebe Cates, that Susie ? Let's think about it, how did you score your beautiful girlfriend ?" Steve asked as the girl looked at her brother, interested in the story how he did in fact "score" Susie. "Oh yeah, with my advice" the brunette said as Delilah's jaw dropped. "You have a girlfriend because of Steve Harrington's advice ?" she said shocked as Dustin looked down, he'd been exposed. "It's just how it works. I give him advice, he follows through, not the other way around" he said before folding his arms, getting oddly protective.

"I was supposed to meet Aunt Melissa like twenty minutes ago. Am I really needed ?" the girl asked about to get up but Dustin grabbed her wrist to tell her to stay down which she did. "Target acquired" the boy announced a couple of minutes later. "Oh here we fucking go" she whispered to herself while
Steve kept asking the boy where and as they talked about where whoever they were looking for was Steve had a look for himself. "Evil Russian" they said in sync before standing up. Dustin grabbed his sister's wrist indicating to just follow him which she did but he never actually let go.

He pulled her up a flight of stairs before they realized they were catching up to him. "Slow down" Dustin hissed still pulling his older sister around. "We're loosing him" Steve said before walking into someone who called him a dickwad as they continued their manhunt. They saw the potential Russian was about to turn around so Dustin quickly dropped his sisters wrist and picked up one of the pay phone. Distress and panic was washed all over Delilah's face once she realised the potential Russian was about to turn around so Steve quickly grabbed her hand to make it look like they were a couple just talking. He pretended he was complimenting her, he put a falling strand of hair behind her ear and she found it all crazy that Steve "the hair" Harrington was just casually holding her hand and was pretending they were dating. If anyone saw such a sight, he'd definitely deny it because it wouldn't be cool to be seen holding Delilah Henderson's hand even if it wasn't genuine.

"Hello. Yes. I am fine" her brother said in a monotone voice as the long haired man with a duffle bag and sun glasses turned around. "How are you" he went on before the potential Russian turned back around and kept walking. Steve quickly let go of Delilah's hand but grabbed her wrist and tapped Dustin so they could continue to follow this man. The trio ran until they got to a pillar. The three of them peeking out until they saw him walk into the jazzcersise place. "Fucking idiots" she whispered before smacking both of them on the back of the head but they shushed her. She ignored what they were saying as the man unzipped the bag to reveal a huge radio and turned it on as the ladies cheered. Dustin and Steve looked disgusted until the ladies were told to shake heir hips which was enough for Delilah so she quickly ran in, apologised for disturbing the class, gave her aunt the pair of tights and ran back to the boys.

"Put your tongues back in your heads" she scolded before smacking them both in the back of their heads again as they began to walk back to Scoops Ahoy. "You're both idiots. Listen carefully Hitlers, blonde doesn't equal Russian" she said as Steve nodded. "Yeah Dustin, Jesus" he said, like he didn't also think it. They finally made it back to Scoops Ahoy. "Yo Robin you're not going to believe who Dustin thought was a Russian" Steve said through a laugh as Delilah shook her head. "You did too" she said as Steve shook his head. "No I did not but you did" he said as she just sighed. Robin instantly pushed passed the trio and ran outside the shop which confused the three of them. "Robs ?" Delilah said confused before running after the girl who was standing on a seating area. "A trip to China sounds nice" she kept repeating as Delilah stood on the ground even more confused. "If you tread lightly" she then began repeating while scanning around the mall. "When-when blue and yellow meet in the west" she then said while looking at her notepad. "Robin what are you doing ?" Steve asked once he walked over with Dustin. Delilah didn't know if it was a spiral or some sort of mental breakdown so just let the girl do what she needed to do.

"I cracked it" she said sounding relieved. "Cracked what ?" the girl asked her friend. "I cracked the code" she said proudly as they all just smiled. This Russian code that Dustin had found on accident had been cracked.
