Darkness had well and truly hit by the time they reached 2121 Holland Road. The house looked abandoned and grotty but the 'Lipton' painted on the mailbox told Delilah she had the right address. "Alright, my car is in one peace. You only hit three curbs, well done" Steve said once they got out and he was able to inspect it. "Well done ? I was fearing for my life" Dustin shouted with his hand to his heart, still trying to regulate his breathing. "I'd never put you in danger, you know that" she said confused. As much as he'd claim to be her protector, she was his but he'd never give her the satisfaction of knowing that. "Mom warned us about a murderer, it could've been you. I can see the headlines, Reckless driver kills two teenagers and man-child" he said dramatically before ringing the doorbell.

No answer. He tried again, no answer. Delilah started getting flashbacks to her dads house when Angeline ignored her outside for what felt like years before coming to the door. Dustin kept pressing the doorbell, over and over again, he knew someone was there. "Alright, I guess that's settled then. He's not here" Steve said to no one in particular, just wanting to get away from the creepy isolated house. "Eddie. It's Dustin. No cops, I swear we just want to talk" the boy hollered through knocks. They were all shining their flashlights while Robin tried to get him to be quiet incase a bystander heard them. "He's not here" Steve said to Delilah who shook her head. "That's what he wants us to think. Would you make you presence known in an abandoned house when you're the main suspect of a murder ?" she asked as the boy shrugged. She had him there.

"Reefer Rick" Dustin shouted, alternating between banging and ringing the doorbell. "Don't scream that" Steve said, again, thinking of whoever could be near. "Rick" Dustin continued which made Steve roll his eyes. "He's not here" he said, he didn't believe Delilah's theory. "Reefer Rick" he continued as Delilah pulled him away from the door. "Stop screaming that" she shouted as he sighed. "What ? He could just be really high" he said softly as the girl shook her head and continued shining her flashlight into the house. "Is thst a foot ?" both boys asked her as she sighed. "No that's just a shoe. Boy trying to hide, remember ?" she said slowly since neither were processing it.

"Hey guys ?" Max who had ventured away from the group called so they all ran over to see what she'd seen. Her flashlight was pointing at a shed, something that nobody had seen and something that wouldn't be noticed until looked for. "Bingo" Delilah whispered as Robin linked her arm. "You think he's in there ?" she asked as the girl nodded. "Do you ?" she asked as Robin nodded back. "Isolated house with an even more isolated shed ? Perfect for the number one suspect of a murder" she explained as Delilah cheered. "Finally, I'm dealing with somebody with a functioning IQ" she cheered as Dustin titled his head. "What's your GPA again ?" he asked as Steve shoved him and Max told him to shut up.

They were all shining their lights into the grubby looking building. Again, there were no signs of life but Delilah knew this meant he was probably there. "Who's going in first then ?" she asked but nobody answered. "Seriously ?" she asked as Steve shrugged. "You are the self-appointed Nancy Drew now apparently" he joked as she scoffed. "So you're putting the women in extreme danger ?" she asked but Robin interrupted them by opening the door. Afraid for her friends safety, Delilah sandwiched herself between Robin and the doorframe so they went in together. "Hello ?" Robin called, trying to see if anybody was there. "Anybody home ?" Delilah called before bursting into laughter. She couldn't help it, she was imagining somebody who wasn't Eddie answering and it ending in a complete bloodbath. Delilah Henderson was afraid.

They all started walking in and exploring. "What a dump" Steve observed as Delilah kept laughing. "What were you expecting ? A quartet to greet you ? Cheese and wine at the door ?" she joked as Dustin let out a loud, exhausted sigh. "This isn't the time for sarcasm Delilah" he barked as they kept looking around. Steve turned his flashlight off, grabbed an oar and slowly walked towards an old row boat that was covered by a tarp. She stopped laughing then, he was in danger. He immediately started poking it with the oar, frightening anyone that wasn't aware of what he was doing. "What are you doing ?" Dustin asked alarmed but was ignored so repeated his question. "He might be in here" Steve said, still having it. "So take the tarp off" Dustin said, not understanding his logic. "If you're so brave, you take the tarp off"
