She allowed herself to fall freely, her eyes were glued shut and a smile was plastered across her face. She was beyond happy to go back to her world again. Except, when she was opened them, she was sitting in Hawkins High's cafeteria. She assumed that she landed weirdly, banged her head, acquired a concussion and now it was all over. Still smiling, she was looking around the room for Robin until she smelled that all too familiar smell. Milk. It was putrid and way stronger than the day it actually happened. It smelt rotten, like it had been there for weeks. Her ears were taken over by a deafening laughter but she couldn't see anybody. Afraid and confused, she did what she wanted to do the day the actual incident had happened. She ran.

Delilah Henderson bolted towards the double doors of the cafeteria and flung them open to reveal her fathers living room. She had no desire to be there at all but she preferred it to her previous situation. The laughing had stopped, she walked in and took a seat on the couch to try and catch her breath. Angeline was standing with her back to her at the kitchen counter, stirring a coffee. "It's so nice to finally meet you, Delilah" the woman said but those words were again, too familiar. "You can't run forever, doll" the woman continued before turning around, revealing her face. Her eyes were popped out of her skull, there was blood under them and her mouth was sown shut. Delilah felt something starting to wrap around her leg and looked down to see one of the vines from the Upside Down. She'd caught it just in time so stood up.

"You-you ruined my family" the girl shouted as the woman titled her head, it was aggressive and she could hear the woman's neck snap. "I didn't ruin it Delilah, it was all you. You were just too dumb to see it" she spat, about to walked towards her but Delilah was up and running again. She made it to the front door, she ripped it open but the outside was boarded shut. "No, no, no" she whispered to herself until she heard footsteps coming towards her. "Delilah, you cannot leave yet, you are running out of time" she heard as the clock appeared in-front of her again with defeating chimes, worse than she'd ever heard before.

"Can you two lovebird do whatever you're doing later ? He has Nancy" Dustin shouted, he was panicking but he was ignored. Steve was staring at the girl in complete shock. She was a couple of feet in the air with her eyes rolled to the back of her head. "Wake up. Babe. Wake up. Come on. Lilah. Please" he kept saying while shaking her but he was met by silence. "Seriously, Steve. What are you guys doing ?" Dustin shouted until he saw the panic on the boy he considered a father figures face. "W-what is it ?" the boy then asked before seeing what Steve saw. "D-Delilah ?" he asked as Steve tried to stop himself from crying. "He's got her too" Dustin announced to the people in their world.

"You can fight this. I know you can. Come on" Steve shouted even louder, shaking her with all he had but nothing was happening. He looked up at Dustin so hurt. "I-I let her down man" he shouted through tears as the boy furrowed his eyebrows. "You don't know that Steve" he began but the boy shook his head. "I promised her nothing was going to happen. I let her down" he sobbed
