"The Mind Flayer, it built its way into Hawkins. To stop El, to kill her and pave a way into our world" Mike explained as the stuff Dustin explained to her started to make sense. "And it almost did. That was just one tiny piece of it" Nancy explained. This is what was weird to Delilah. She couldn't comprehend how monsters from the board game Dustin was obsessed with had a found a way into their world. And Hawkins of all place.

At the same time, she wouldn't have believed there were evil armed Russians under her feet either so she was believing everything they said. "How big is this thing ?" Hopper, the chief of police asked. "It's big. Thirty feet at least" Jonathan said through a nod as Lucas agreed and told Hopper that this monster destroyed his cabin. "Okay just to be clear, this big fleshy spider thing that hurt El. It's just some sort of gigantic.. weapon" Steve asked. Once Hopper came and asked them what was going on, Steve knew he wasn't needed and went back to Delilah. She was standing infront of him and he was hugging her from behind. "Yes" Nancy said. She was looking at him confused seeing as he was just hugging Delilah.

"But instead of like screws and metal. The Mind Flayer made its weapon with melted people" Steve said. It did sound insane but they had no other choice but to believe it. "Yes. Exactly" Nancy said as Steve nodded again. "Yeah, Okay. He was just making sure" Delilah answered for him because he was still processing it all. "Are we sure this thing is still out there, still alive" Joyce asked as Max nodded. "El beat the shit out of it but yeah it's still alive" she said as Will instantly chimed in. "But if we close the gate again" he began. "We cut off the brain from the body" Max said as Lucas chimed in. "And kill it. Theoretically" he said. None of this made sense to Delilah. She didn't know anything about a gate or how to close it.M or how to even kill a monster but Steve believed it and Dustin experienced it. So anything that needed to be done. She'd do.

"Yoo-hoo. Yoo-hoo" they heard being yelled, followed by papers rustling. It was Murray. He walked straight over and showed them the papers. "Okay so this is what Alexei called the hub. Now the hub takes us to the vault room" he explained as Hopper stared at him. "Okay so where's the gate ?" he asked as Murray pointed at a place on the paper. "Right here. Now I don't know the scale on this but I think this is very close to the vault room. Maybe fifty feet or so" he said Erica chimed in. "More like five hundred" she spoke up as Murray looked up. "What you're just going to waltz in there like it's commie DisneyLand or something" she said as Delilah had to stop herself from laughing and Steve knew this so he quickly nudged her. "I'm sorry who are you ?" Murray said confused. "Erica SinClair. Who are you ?" she retorted back. "Murray....Bauman" he said, clearly never asked that question by a child before. "Listen Mister Bum-man. I'm not trying to tell you how to do things but I've been down in that shithole for twenty four hours and with all due respect. You do what this man tells you. You're all going to die" she said as Delilah, Steve and Robin couldn't help but smile. "Go on Erica" the curly haired girl whispered.

"I'm sorry. Why is this four year old speaking to me ?" Murray asked confused. "Um I'm ten. You bald bastard" she said back as Lucas instantly looked at her shocked. "Erica" he shouted, clearly wanting her to apologize like Delilah would do to Dustin. "Just the facts" the girl said while shrugging as Dustin nodded. "She's right. You're all going to die but you don't have to. Excuse me ?. Sorry, May I" Dustin said taking the lead, making his sister proud as he walked over to the map which made Murray step back. "Please" he said clearly annoyed that children were taking over. "Okay, see this room here. This is a storage facility" Dustin said while sitting down and circling the room. "There's a hatch in here that feeds into their underground ventilation system. That will lead you to the base of the weapon" he then went on while drawing a line. "Now it's like a maze down there but between me and Erica. We can show you the way" he said as Delilah folded her arms.

"Me. Steve and Robin were there too" she said as she nodded. "Correct but you were also held at gunpoint while me and Erica worked the vents and it's Steve, Robin and I" Dustin corrected as Hopper tapped him to tell him to get on with it. "So we can show you the way" he finished as Hopper raised his eyebrows. "You can show us the way" he asked skeptically. "Don't worry. You can do all the fighting and the dangerous hero shit and we'll just be your.. navigators" he said proudly as Hopper shook his head. "No" he said while shaking his head head before pausing. "Nope" he then said before continuing to shake his head as he went to get his guns ready. "Well, that settles it. He's going to die." Erica decided as Delilah floated off to Robin who was sitting on one of the counters of a wrecked bakery and Steve followed since Dustin was off reuniting with his friend.

"It's been twenty-four hours and so much has happened" Delilah said while shaking her head as Robin nodded. "I know. I didn't think I'd ever admit what I admitted. But you two, that could really go somewhere" she said while smiling at them. "Oh come on. You can't predict that" Delilah said while nudging her. "There's already hugs and hand holding. Now there's just getting to know eachother. The vault of facts" she said as Delilah nodded "Enzos ?" she said to the boy who shook his head. "On my wage. No thank you" he joked as she smiled but they were interrupted by Hopper tossing a walkie talkie to Dustin.

"Take this. You can navigate, just from someplace safe" he said quite loudly. "It's not that simple" Dustin said as Erica nodded. "The signal won't reach" she said as Dustin looked at the walkie talkie. "Not with this. You need something with a high enough frequency band to relay with the Russians radio tower. But for that to work you need someone who has both seen their comms room and has access to a super powered handcrafted radio tower, one already preferably situated in the highest point of Hawkins. Oh, wait, that's me. If you want us to navigate. You got us but we just need a head start and a car" her brother said before nodding at the three eldest teenagers sitting on the counter.
