"Code red, I repeat this is a code red. Does anyone copy ? This is a code red ? I repeat a code red. This is a code red, I repeat a code red. Does anyone copy. We are in innocent children and we are trapped under StarCourt mall" were the words Delilah Henderson was woken up by. She rubbed her ehes and groggily sat up, she'd gotten maybe two hours of sleep the previous night. "The Red Army has infiltrated Hawkins and if we are trapped, they will torture and kill us. I repeat for the millionth time, innocent children trapped underneath StarCourt mall" her brother added on as she looked at Steve who sitting across from her in the same groggy state she was in.

"Hey !" Steve shouted as he climbed up to Dustin. "You've got to take it easy on that thing. You're going to drain the battery" the boy she spent a majority of the night speaking to shouted. Erica and Robin had stood up too she decided it was her turn however the whole room started spinning from her lack of sleep and she sat back down. "You alright ?" Robin asked, instantly noticing it. "I will be" she answered, attempting to stand up again but failing horribly.

"Why are you being so cranky ? You were up all night to talking to Robin or Delilah. I'm not sure which one it was and I'm not sure which one you prefer" her brother remarked. She was the only one to hear them, Erica and Robin were already deep in conversation. "Shh, Jesus Christ. Will you just give up on the creepy dreams already" Steve whispered, afraid their night had been revealed and afraid Delilah would hear him talking about her. She couldn't help but laugh. "I heard what I heard" Dustin sang at him.

"Alright, yeah fine, that wasn't Robin. That was Delilah and we were trying to find a way to open the door while you children were sleeping. After eight hours or so, here we are" Steve explained, she couldn't help but smile that he'd admitted it was her but lied about them plotting to open the door to protect the confidentiality of their conversation. She finally stood up and walked over to the girls who looked busy trying to figure something out. Robin was fiddling with the buttons so Delilah tried to help her but they were distracted by a stream travelling down the wall. "Can you redirect your stream please ?" Robin shouted as Delilah laughed. "I love the smell of piss in the morning" she joked as Steve moved but it just stained the wall so they let it go.

"This Delilah is why we've grown out of the Steve obsessed phase" Robin joked but before Delilah could even answer, say maybe Steve wasn't so bad after all, they heard banging behind them. They turned around to see Erica banging the putrid green tube against one of the mental bins. "Hey, hey, hey. Be careful" Robin frantically tried to warn her while running over and handing it to Delilah. "We don't even know what this is" Robin continued, trying to reason with her. "Exactly, it could be useful" Erica protested. "Useful how ?" Delilah asked genuinely curious with her head titled. "We can survive down here for a long time without food but if the human body doesn't get water. It will die" the girl said as Delilah nodded. Erica was a childof science. It made sense. "So, w-we should drink it" she said confused as Robin instantly took it. "No" she shouted as Delilah put her hands up.

"I hate to break it to you, both of you but this is not water" Robin said slowly. "No but it's a liquid and if it comes down to me drinking this shit or dying of thirst. I drink" she said as Delilah nodded, still not grasping it. "So. We can drink it if it's a liquid" she said confused as Robin shook her head. "N-no Lilah, it's a chemical. Poison" she said softly, knowing it took her longer to process things. A faint sound could be heard outside so Robin shoved the tube into Delilah's hands before pressing his ear against the door. "If it comes to it, me and you are drinking this shit" Delilah said as Erica nodded and they high fived. "We've got company" Robin announced to Dustin and Steve which Erica and Delilah could also hear.

The five of them were sitting on top of the elevator as two Russian men retrieved a few boxes from the room they had slept in that night. Steve had his finger to his mouth, telling them all to be quiet as he noticed the tube Delilah was holding, well more hugging. The door was about to close when Steve instantly jumped down, grabbing the tube and putting the green acid under the door to stop it from closing fully. "Let's go" the boy said to the four on top. Delilah threw down Erica's bag which Steve slid under the door. Before Erica, Dustin, Robin, Delilah and finally Steve slid under the door, then the tube broke leaking green acid all over the floor.

"You two still want to drink it ?" Robin joked as Delilah looked at her dumbfounded, the acid had began sizzling. "Holy mother of god" Dustin said, alerting them all to a long hallway. "Hope you guys are in good shape" Steve said as Delilah nodded. "Looking at you roast beef" Steve said tapping Dustin who had roast beef written on his shirt. "Hope you are too King of Hawkins High. You're carrying me if need be" Delilah said while nodding as they began the walk down the long corridor. "I mean you have to admit as a feat of engineering alone. This is impressive" Dustin said clearly surprised at how good the Russian had this place planned out. "What are you talking about ? It's a total fire hazard" Steve said like it was obvious as Delilah folded her arms. They'd only gone about one quarter of the length of the hall but Delilah was already trailing behind. Her shoes were scruffy and definitely not made for hiking Russian lairs.

"Keep up slowpoke" Dustin shouted as she sighed. "I'm running on severe lack of sleep and you know I can't walk properly in these shoes" she said as Dustin laughed. "The sleep thing is your own fault and I thought that was a ploy to get mom to buy you new shoes" he said honestly as Steve sighed. "Get on" he said while bending down as she raised an eyebrow. "What ?" she asked confused. "We can't have you trailing behind and get like shot or worse, lost. Get on my back" he said as she shook her head. "Steve, I was kidding about carrying me" she said genuinely as he shrugged so she hopped on. Atleast she didn't have to walk.

"Why doesn't she have to walk ?" Erica asked annoyed but Robin just told her to keep going. It's got to be more something more valuable like promethium or something" Dustin finished before Delilah rudely interrupted. "What the hells promethium ?" Steve and Delilah said in sync. Robin explained something that she didn't follow before Erica shook her head. "You're all so nerdy it makes me physically ill. Delilahs the exception of course because she doesn't know what people are talking about half the time" she said as Steve instantly shook his head. "No,no,no. Don't lump me in with them. I'm not a nerd. Alright" Steve said while adjusting Delilah on his back. "Why are you so sensitive Harrington ? Scared of loosing cool points to a ten year old child" Robin asked. "No, not at all. I'm just saying, like Lilah. I don't know Jack shit about Prometheus" he said as Dustin shook his head. "Promethium" he corrected. "The difference is I don't boast about being dumb sometimes being a nerd is good as Robin and Dustin keep proving"Delilah said as Dustin smiled, happy to know his sister was proud of him. She always had been, she'd never admit it.

"Prometheus is a Greek mythological figure but whatever. All I'm saying is it's probably being used to make something" he said as Robin nodded. "Or to power something" she added. "Like a nuclear weapon" he suggested as she nodded. "Totally"
"Walking toward a nuclear weapon. That's great" Steve said as Delilah shrugged. "Technically you're carrying me towards a nuclear weapon so it's your fault" she said as he just sighed. "But if they're building something. Why here ? I mean Hawkins ? Of all places. At the very best. We're a toilet stop of the way to Disneyland" Robin said while walking ahead with Erica. "You think the Russian know" Dustin began. "About the" Steve finished. "They could" Dustin added. "So it's connected" Steve said. "Maybe" Dustin whispered. "How" Steve whispered back. "I don't know but it's" Dustin began as they both said the word "possible" in sync, confusing Delilah but she was too tired to question.

"I'm sorry. Is there something you'd like to share with the class ?" Robin asked as the broadcast Dustin picked up the first time started playing. They all dropped to the floor as Erica pulled out the walkie talkie and Robin began repeating the code. "It's the code ?" she said proudly. "Wherever that broadcast is coming from" Dustin began as Delilah got off Steve's back. "It's close" she whispered. "And if there's one thing we know about that signal" Robin began. "It can reach the surface" Dustin finished. "Let's go" Robin said excitedly as they all stood up and began walking again.
