"Move. I'm sicker than you" Delilah groaned while pushing past Steve to get into the bathroom. Robin took the first stall, Steve and Delilah pushed each-other for the second one but Steve won and Delilah dropped to her knees and began vomiting her heart up in the third and final toilet. She could hear the other two throwing up which made her throw up more. "The ceiling stopped spinning for me. Is it still spinning for you guys ?" Robin asked as Delilah lay with her cheek pressed against the cold and grubby bathroom floor. "Holy shit, no" Steve said as Delilah agreed. "You think we puked it all up ?" Steve asked as Delilah chuckled. "Definitely, ask me something" the girl said softly since she could barely keep her eyes open.

"Interrogate us" Robin said in an accent. "Okay uh, when was the last time you peed your pants" Steve asked randomly as Robin spoke. "Today" she answered truthfully. "What ?" Delilah asked intrigued. "When the Russian doctor-" she began as Delilah corrected her. "Doctor Zhukov" she said as Robin sighed. "When Doctor Zhukov took out the bone saw" she said as Steve laughed. "Oh my god" he said as Robin kept laughing. "Just a little bit though" she said as Steve banged at Delilah's wall separating them. "Oh god it's definitely still in her system" he said as the girl smiled. Her cheek still pressed against the floor, eyes closed and a smile on her face. She was in a total euphoric state. "My turn" Robin said while adjusting herself. "Have either of you... ever been in love" she said as Delilah nodded remembering what Steve told her on the floor in the Russian elevator. "Yup, Nancy Wheeler, First Semester, Senior Year" he said as Delilah secretly whispered the words "yes" knowing she had the right person.

"Hm, she's a total priss" Robin said as Steve sighed. "Hm, turns out, not really" he said as Robin nodded. "Are you, still in love with Nancy ?" she then asked as him. This was the burning question Delilah never asked. She wasn't sure if she wanted to know the answer but she was getting it now. "No" he said as Robin came straight in with "why not ?"

"I guess I found someone who's a little better for me" he said, Delilah could feel her heart sinking. This was it. This was the moment he'd rip out her heart again and dance all over it. This was the point in time where he was going to confess all to Robin and she'd pretend to be happy for her, ecstatic. Delilah would pretend she was still feeling the high, cry then compose herself, wait until she got home and sob into her pillow. She'd say her crying in the bathroom was out of happiness for the two but really it was going to sting so bad and she'd never say it because she'd been jeopardising her best friends happiness. She sat up and leant against the wall, waiting for it to happen, waiting for Steve to rip the bandaid off.

"It's so crazy y'know, ever since Dustin's gotten home all he's ever been saying is you've got to find you Susie, you've got to find your Susie" he began as Delilah nodded since that's all her brother could say to anyone who could since returning home. "Wait, who's Susie ?" Robin asked confused and obviously way out of the loop. "Some girl from camp. I guess his girlfriend. To be honest with you I'm not one hundred percent sure if she's real" he said as Delilah shook her head. "She is. I witnessed it" she spat as he nodded. "Alright Alright. But that's not the point, it doesn't even really matter. The point is this girl, you know, one that I like" he began as Delilah felt the vomit rise again. Here goes nothing.

"She's somebody I didn't talk to in school, somebody I didn't even notice and I don't even know why. Maybe because Tommy H would've made fun of me or because I was too much of an asshole to even turn around in Ms Click's History class and ask what was going on or I wouldn't be I don't know, prom king. Either way, I was stupid" he said as Delilah smiled but could feel the tears slowly slipping down her cheeks. He was definitely talking about Robin.

"I guess, the result of it all is Dustin's right, it's a bunch of bullshit anyway because when I think about it, I should've been hanging out with this girl the whole time. I mean first of all, her mood is a mystery. This summer for example, just because she's been so unpredictable, it's been amazing. One minute she could be swatting me, being an asshole and the next she could be saying the sweetest things. All I want to do is laugh, I don't think I've ever laughed as much as I have with her, ever. She's so beautiful, not who I would've called beautiful in High School but just seeing a glimpse into her personality and her crazy hair, the best. She's slowly redefining the word for me. And the way she cares about her brother man, it's beautiful. She really would take a bullet for him. She's not smart in an academic way but her head is still a vault of facts, it just goes back to her being so caring. In all honesty, she's unlike anyone I've ever met before" he said as she instantly wiped the tears from her cheeks and kept the smile on her face, this time it was genuine.
