Midday the next day, Dustin and Delilah were sitting on the couch waiting for Steve to pick the girl up. "So Steve's your boyfriend now ?" he asked confused as she nodded. "Is that such a sin" she said while twirling a strand of hair around her finger as he went silent for a second. "Does he make you happy ?" he asked as the girl nodded. "I've liked him since I was fourteen" she said truthfully as Dustin dramatically put his hand over his mouth. "Really. Oh my god. I never would've guessed" he said in a robot voice as she just kicked him and began laughing. "Shut up" she said through a laugh. Delilah Henderson was genuinely happy and she didn't care who knew.

"You need to buy this house a new cat. It's weird without Mews" the girl said truthfully as Dustin shuddered. "Can you please not give me flashbacks of our family pet being eaten alive ?" he said as she nodded before smirking. "All your fault" she whispered before laughing. "I'll tell Steve you're laughing about the cat that I accidentally got murdered" he said as she nodded. "Oh really" she said but they were interrupted by a knock at the door. "I'll get it" the pair said in sync as Dustin ran to the door and opened it. "Steve" he said blankly as the boy nodded. "Henderson" he said in the same tone as they both burst into laughter and started having their rehearsed light saber fight. Steve always pretending to die as Delilah rolled her eyes before putting on her denim jacket that she and Robin spent the longest time looking for and even more time trying to find pins to put on it.

"Are you two done ?" Delilah said while pushing passed Dustin and stepping outside. "Steve" Dustin called even though he was right infront of her. "Look after her. Okay ?" he said, trying to play the role of Delilah's father since hers was in Illinois but was also filled with joy that two people he cared about teamed up together to form a cute couple. "You found your Susie" Dustin shouted as they walked towards the car. "Bye" the girl said while dramatically waving as Dustin did the same before the girl dropped to her knees, pretended she had just gotten stabbed and lay on the floor for about ten seconds. "I think the real question is, are you done ?" Steve said while tapping her lightly with his foot to tell her to get up. But she just stayed there for another few seconds before getting up. "Never ask me when I'm done. I'll be done when I'm ready" she said as she sat into the car and he nodded. "Noted" he said before starting the car.

They had just picked up Robin and were driving towards the video store. "I'm just saying, you can't call me dramatic after a performance like that" Steve said after he explained Delilah's performance to Robin. "She did drama. What did you expect ?" the girl said as Steve gagged. "That's it. We're done. Get out of my car" he said sarcastically once he parked outside the video store. "Fine" she said dramatically before getting out and slamming the door shut before laughing as he slung his arm over her shoulder. "You two are going to kill it. It's literally just Keith" Delilah said as she held Robin's hand since she felt bad that the girl just had to walk next to them.

"Can I please use the "yeah well you stole my girlfriends first kiss. Her lips were Virgin before you" Line" Steve asked as she just scoffed. "Absolutely not" she said while nodding before opening the door as the trio walked in before walking back out because both of them forgot to let Delilah read over their résumés. "Great job Robs. I'd definitely hire you. Not that Keith will actually read this" she said while handing it back to her friend as she began scanning Steve's as Robin looked over her shoulder. "You put your mom down as a reference" Robin said confused as Steve nodded. "Yeah,why not. She's like super well-respected" He said as his girlfriend nodded and continued scanning. "Exactly" Steve said as Robin just rolled her eyes. "You're such a dingus" she said as Delilah furrowed her eyebrows. "Why am I a reference ?" she said softly as he just smirked. "Because it's like a bribe. Like I know my girlfriend was your first kiss. Give me the job. Yanno" he said as Delilah just handed him back his résumé. "And there I was thinking you were being all romantic" she said while opening the door as the pair looking for the job walked in.
