Delphine's Family

Chapter 29- Sleepover

Third Person POV

Leon and Delphine were on the couch enjoying the popcorn that Delphine had made for herself but being self-proclaimed besties Leon took it upon himself to eat her popcorn. Faye and Mina were upstairs getting in comfy clothing for a night of movies and friends. The other two boys were upstairs in Nico's room ignoring everyone else. 

The kid's parents allowed them to have a sleepover over the weekend since they were going on a ride for the weekend. They left that night after an early dinner and would be back Sunday night leaving the teenager alone for the next two days. 

Leon and Delphine were trying to find something to watch but the two could not agree on anything. They started to argue until Nico Nolan came down after hearing the yelling. 

"Yeah well, at least I get laid." Leon's voice went an octave higher when he yelled making it hard to take him seriously.

"Who said I don't get laid?" Delphine remarked back will she stayed sitting and Leon was standing up. Nico and Nolan were watching from the doorway. 

"What?!! Who was it? Who touched my buddy?" Delphine rolled her eyes as Leon's face got red with anger. Behind them, Nolan was trying to hold in his laugh as Leon's face. Nico was a different story his fist was clenching and unclenching trying to remember if anyone had been talking to her and when she could have slept with someone. He of course came up with nothing as Delphine hadn't slept with anyone in this town nor had she shown interest in anyone. 

"Who!?" 

"I'm not telling you" Dlephien had argued back with him trying her hardest not to break face in front of him. After that Nolan lost it. He had started laughing behind them drawing out Mina and Faye who had only gotten the last it of the argument. The two fightings had turned around seeing them Nolan bending over with his hands on his knees. 

"What is going on?" Faye's sweet voice echoed as Nolan's laughter calmed down. 

"Nothing." Nico and Delphine both tell her not wanting to talk about the argument. Everyone had already eaten dinner so they had sat down on the couch eating Delphine's popcorn that she had hardly any of. The friends all take turns watching movies, some cartoons, and some horror movies. 

When the sun had been long since set they all go to bed. Faye was going to stay in Mina's room with her. Leon stayed in the living room where he fell asleep on the couch. Nico had fallen asleep on one of the chairs in the living room. With Nico asleep Nolan decided to take over his room. 

Delphine walked to her room. Earlier in the day when Nico came home from school, he was alone as Mina went with Faye to her house to pack. When Nico came home Delpien had given back his hoodie simply saying that she had forgotten she had it. When Nico took it back to his room he noticed how her pomegranate scent was on the fabric and it brought a smile to his face. 

Getting ready for bed Delphine was able to fall asleep easily. 

In the early hours of the morning after everyone went to sleep. Leon and Nico had been woken up by someone yelling. They turned to look at each other confused until they heard it again. Hearing similar cries from the night at the hospital Nico rushed to Delphine's room leaving a confused Leon behind. 

When Leon realized what was happening he rushed to follow him to Delphine's room. Walking through the opened door he found Nico leaning over a crying Delphine as she shouted for help. Nico's calls went ignored as her shouts drowned him out. 

"Leon shut the door!" Leon was shaken out of his daze and shut the door and walked over to Delphine while tears started to run down his face hearing his friend crying and begging for help. 

Nico had begun to call for her to wake up and shake her shoulders. It wasn't until Leon egged her to wake up did she shoot up knocking her head against Nico's. She grabbed her head as she looked around in alarm looking for the threat. When she saw Leon she claimed down as he wiped away his tears trying to hide them. She saw Nico rubbing his forehead and shutting his eyes as he was a few feet away from her bed. 

Her tears didn't stop falling down her cheeks and started to stain her shirt. Seeing this Leon rushed over and hugged her to his chest. Nico was still rubbing his head but left the room when Leon hugged her. Delphine grew a little sad as she saw him walk out. 

Nico had gone upstairs to Mina's room to see the two girls still asleep they always were heavy sleepers. He walked into his room effectively waking up Nolan. 

"What?" Nico looked over as Nolan lifted his head from Nico's pillow. 

"Nothing go back to sleep." Nico walked into his closet grabbing one of his hoodies. 

"What are you doing?" Nolan laid back down falling asleep. 

"Delphine had a nightmare I'm grabbing her a hoodie" Nolan smirked a little hearing Nico mutter his confession. 

"She okay?"

"Yeah just shaken up"

"That's good but doesn't she have any hoddies?"

"Shut up." Nico walked out shutting his door and going back downstairs. He couldn't hear her crying anymore. He went to the living room and grabbed the bedding he ad Leon was using. 

He walked back in seeing Leon and Delphine on her bed. She was still hugging Leon but he was asleep as she lay awake. When Nico shut the door she turned her head to see him. Nico handed her hos hoodie and without fighting, she threw t on and cuddled back up in her covers. 

Nico put the pillow on the floor next to her bed and laid down with one of the blankets. Leon was on top of her covers and through one on him and tucked Delphine in with her blankets. 

"Try to get some sleep." Nico kissed her forehead and went back to sleep after he heard her breaths steady.
