Delphine's POV
"Dolphin I'm back." I leave my room heading to the kitchen where Nico is. His hoodie-clad back is facing me as he has take-out food in front of him.
I walk over and hug him from behind. "Hi."
"Hi, sit down and I'll bring the food over." I to the table and sit down while he sits down on my left. He places the food and plates in front of us.
"Thank you." We sit down together and eat.
"Uhhh man you guys got food without us." I look at the door to see Leon and Nolan standing in front of us. Nolan takes a seat as Leon complains about how we didn't include him in our plans.
"How'd you get in?" I ask Leon interrupting his complaints.
"Oh, I know where the spare key is hidden."
"There's a spare key."
"You didn't know?"
"Does it look like I knew?" Leon looks wide at me while I hear Nico and Nolan snickering beside us.
"You know some days you are hard to like."
"Don't worry I like myself enough for the both of us." I put my hand over my chest.
"Cocky much."
"I try my best."
"No one even likes you."
"How long did that one take to come up with?"
"I've been working on it for a few days."
"I could tell."
"As much as I'm enjoying this why are you two here." Nico interrupts us.
"Leon called and asked to hang out and I figured if I had to suffer from his existence then we all should." He shrugs as Nico nods his head in agreement.
"You guys are mean."
"Whoever said I was nice?" Nolan asks while staring into the would of Leon.
If I didn't know a better I would assume that these two were brothers by the way they bicker. Their features even matched a little. They both have dark brown eyes but with Leon's light brown hair bordering a ginger color and Nolan's dark brown hair.
Nico took my plate when I finished and washed our dishes including the ones from breakfast as well. Me and him moved upstairs to his room.
I always liked his room it had a darker grey paint job and was cluttered. You could never see his entire floor it always had clothes on it today there is also crumpled-up paper on the floor.
I move to his bed which is surprisingly clean while he moves stuff off of his floor. I look over at the wall to see some of my drawings that he has stolen. He picks the ones he likes the most whether it's finished or not.
"Why do you never clean your room?"
"It is clean."
"Really I can't even see your floor."
"You can too."
"Fine look at your desk can you even use it?"
He looks off at his desk which has piles of homework, clothes, and even a few empty glasses. He opens his mouth to defend himself but after one long look at the mess of his desk, he shuts his mouth.
"Shut up." He comes over and pushes me down onto the bed. He pushs his head into my chest and wraps his arms around hips. I lay down on his pillows.
"Are we just gonna leave them downstairs?"
"Shh it's nap time."
