"Good morning, my dearest best friend. It finally feels good to write to you today as I sit comfortably on my chair, with my diary and a hot cup of coffee by my side (assuming that you are not lactose intolerant). Today, I declare you my best friend and I am excited to share my thoughts with you!" As I begin to scribble my thoughts down, I mutter the words softly to myself, ensuring that every syllable is clear. "Although you may be familiar with me as you read this diary, let me formally introduce myself and ease any anxiety that may be lingering. My name is Kaito Asahi, and I am 16 years old."

I understand that this introduction may seem lengthy and cheesy, but I wanted to showcase my enthusiasm and differentiate myself from my usual self. It was a somewhat ridiculous idea, but looking back, I believe it was worth it as it enabled me to cherish our memories together, even if some of them were intentional. "To be honest, it feels a bit strange writing all of this without knowing who my audience is, but I am confident that you will understand and appreciate my words nonetheless."

"I am fully aware that it may be a challenge for someone to come across this diary, buried deep and away from any inhabited area, but I am hopeful that whoever does find it will thoroughly enjoy reading my incredibly peculiar and bizarre thoughts. This diary holds a special place in my heart, and I have made it my mission to ensure its preservation long after I am gone." With these words, I am reminded of the countless hours I have spent pouring my soul into this diary, and I am filled with a sense of satisfaction and pride. "I am confident that the universe will guide this diary into the hands of someone who will appreciate its contents, even if it takes years or even decades to happen. I trust that whoever that person may be, they will find solace in my words and perhaps even discover a part of themselves within them."

"Without further ado, let's dive right into the second season of Kaito Asahi's epic adventures! As I reflect on my previous entries, I realize that my earlier statements may not have been the most persuasive. After all, how could a studious, bespectacled sixteen-year-old like myself lead a life full of adventure and excitement? But don't be fooled by appearances, my dear reader. While I may not be the life of the party, I have had my fair share of thrilling experiences."

"As much as I enjoy chronicling my own life in this diary, I admit that I sometimes struggle to come up with interesting conversation topics. This is precisely why I started writing in the first place - to document experiences worth sharing with you. While some of my days may be mundane, others are filled with unexpected surprises that make life all the more interesting."

"For example, I'll never forget the time when Anli tripped over a stone while crossing the road on a green signal. While it wasn't necessarily a fun experience, it certainly left an impression. On the other hand, Akira tipping a yen at a restaurant and not knowing the name of the dish he ordered was quite comical. But perhaps my favorite recent memory was when Akira and I went out for ice cream without Anli. The absence of her constant chatter made the outing incredibly peaceful, and we even snuck over to Akira's house while Anli was busy ringing my doorbell. I won't divulge how we knew she was waiting outside, but let's just say we felt like real spies, peeking from the window."

"Despite the ups and downs of everyday life, I'm excited to continue sharing my stories with you, my faithful diary. Who knows what other adventures await me in the future? With my trusty pen in hand, I'm ready to tackle whatever comes my way and document every moment of it."

As I was about to introduce my group of friends, the sound of the doorbell interrupted me. I turned around to see Anli standing there with a lunch box in her hand, and I couldn't help but feel confused. "What brings you here?" I inquired with a puzzled look on my face. "And why are you carrying a lunch box?" I continued, glancing at the object in her hand. "And did you learn how to pick locks or something? Because I definitely locked the door." I took a moment to scan the room for any signs of damage or vandalism. "My mother asked me to check on you," Anli replied, seeming oblivious to my irritation. "Is it really that surprising?" "No, it's not surprising," I replied dryly. "But it is surprising that you learned how to pick locks. What other skills have you acquired?" Anli chuckled. "Just some basic survival skills," she said, winking at me.
