Through The Eyes Of Mine

There was nothing I could focus on but you. The birds chirping, the people talking, even the clouds wanted to say something to me, but I ignored it like never noticed. Your hair whispered by the wind, lips mouthed but not spoken. Just as beautiful as it gets.

As I was gazing at you secretly, you folded the paper and kept it near your chest and looked up. See, I think I overlooked but your eyes were bubbled up like you were just about to cry, I wish I could comfort you there, but being the pusillanimous disappointment I am, I did nothing but watch you. "Bitch. You're being super creepy right now."

"THAT SPOOKED MY SOUL OUT!" I was so zoned out into you that even a whisper by Anli jumped scared me. She looked just like out of some horror movie. "Don't just stare at her, that creeped even me out!" Anli whispered. "Tell her to stop being this adorable then!" covering my mouth I replied. "Just confess to her already, or I will because THIS is not good."

"I can't okay?
I can't."

I didn't have the confidence to confess to you. I was afraid that it could damage or even completely ruin the friendship between us and I didn't want that. Just thinking about it would make me so scared that I would scrimmage against my mind to not think about it.

"It's here!" Anli exclaimed, jumping out of excitement like there were flames just beneath her. "IT'S HERE!" She even started punching my head. "THE BUS IS HERE, LET'S GO!" Gorou Senpai started walking towards the bus as it stopped after us. "YOU DON'T WANNA MISS THIS ONE, I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU IF YOU EVEN TRY TO THINK ABOUT IT. AND I AM NOT KIDDING!" There were flames in her eyes again, just like the time she just got introduced to you.

"Let's go, guys, the public nuisance won't stop hopping here and there until we go." That was a hard hit by Akira, I still remember my face going red, laughing at it. So anyway, coming back to the scene, I stood up and waited for you to put the paper back in your bag. "Let's go!" You started to pretend to be all enthusiastic to go, but something was nullifying the joy in your mind, I could read you like an open page of a book.

We walked towards the bus as you stopped walking and looked towards the road, sighed and started smiling. I can picture that smile like no other camera, it is carved on my mind like no other statue. "Ah, just look at it, will you?" You whispered in your own self, but I'm pretty sure talking to somebody else.

"Come on." Akira gave me a hand as walking up the bus's stairs. I and Anli walked onto the bus while you were still standing there in the bright sun. None of us realised the time passing and we waited for you, until... "MIHOKO!" I shouted as the bus started to move. I rushed up from my seat, ran towards the door and held out a hand for you. Your fingers touched mine but couldn't connect. I wish you could grab that hand of mine... I wish the time would have stopped and you would have boarded the bus, I wish...

"STOP THE BUS!" Akira shouted. Well you see, I was not exactly too dumb for that. I just didn't get that thought in my mind, THAT'S NOT CALLED DUMB OKAY? Nobody. Will. Call. Me. That.

So the bus stopped and you finally walked up, sighing with your hands on your knees. "COULDN'T YOU DO THAT EARLIER?!"

"AT LEAST I DID!" Both Akira and you started staring deep into my eyes.

"WHAT? I put my efforts okay?" You along with him continue to goggle into my soul. "Sit down, people are staring at you!" Anli grabbed my arm and pulled me down to the seat. And the amazing consequence of this event was that you sat with Akira, which was not supposed to happen according to my mindly scenarios. I was supposed to talk to you the whole time, which was not possible now because Akira took my place. It wasn't even his fault, I have to totally blame Anli for this. The only thing I could do now was to watch and listen to their conversations.
