Poutine? What is that?

This part is going to be text conversation between Thomas and Amelia.

Thomas- Would it be totally crazy if I asked you to go out with me Friday night?

Me- I don't know, if you want me. I'm damaged goods.

Thomas- Damaged good aye?

Me- I just am a burden on everyone. A single mom of 2, 18 years old, living with my parents, and still madly in love with piece of shit man.

Thomas- Ahhh. Still not over Steven?

Me- No, I wish I was. But every time I look at the kids, I think of him. And I try not too. But it just happens.

Thomas- Actually, that's completely normal. But I respect the way you feel. So, how about just a hang out on Friday? Not a date.

Me- Sure. That's sounds better. I will have to find a sitter.

Thomas- Bring the kids. We will got to a playground or where ever 2 year olds hang out these days.

Me- Haha. Are you sure? Addison is a bit of a handful.

Thomas- I'm positive. I'd love to meet the kiddos. You said Grayson was born 3 months early?

Me- Yes. He is a serious miracle. Fully developed at 5 months. Except his lungs. But he is doing a lot better now. His lungs are functioning at 98% now.

Thomas- That's fantastic!! Well, I have a niece. She's 4. Her name is Sittilee.

Me- That's a beautiful name. It rolls off the tounge. What's her middle name if you don't mind me asking?

Thomas- You're right it does. And no I don't mind it's Elizabeth. Sittilee Elizabeth Young.

Me- That has to be the most beautiful name I have ever heard. Love it!

Thomas- Haha. You're funny. I'll tell my brother you said so. :) What are your kids middle names?

Me- Addison Grace Wake, and Grayson James Holdough. :)

Thomas- Two different last names? Two daddy's?

Me- No, my last name is Wake. Steven wasn't involved in the beginging stages of Addison's life very much. So she has my last name. And when Grayson was born he was, and I had no choice.

Thomas- Ahhhh. Gotcha. Explains it. What's your middle name? I never caught yours.

Me- Haha. That's because I never told you. :) It's Ebele. As in E-Bell-eh

Thomas- That's different. Where'd that come from?

Me- my mother thought it was genius to use foriegn names to give to her only daughter. I'm the only sister of 4 brothers. One older one named Lucas, and three younger brothers Travis, Bentley, and Levi. They are triplets.

Thomas- Woah! That's a lot of boys.

Me- I know. Just me and my mom growing up. Now it's Addison, my mom and me.

Thomas- You know what?

Me- What?

Thomas- You're mysterious. There is something about you that intrigues me. I just want to know everything about you. Not because I'm a stalker, just because I find you mesmerizing. You're beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you different.

Me- Awe. That is really sweet. Well ask me, what do you want to know?

Thomas- What's your favorite color?

Me- Orange. You?

Thomas- Blue.

Me- Nice. Anything else? :P

Thomas- Favorite food?

Me- Eh... I'm not a big eater. But I love Cheetos.

Thomas- Ha-ha. Cheetos Aye? I like those too. But my favorite food is Poutine.

Me- Poutine? What in the Sam hell is that?

Thomas- Alright that's it. I'm taking you and the kids to get the best Poutine around town. It's a Canadian dish with Mashed potatoes and french fries all over gravy.

Me- That sounds like heaven.

Thomas- It is. :)

Me- It's 1 am.

Thomas- I know, you probably want to get to sleep huh?

Me- Just a little. But I want to talk to you. :)

Thomas- You can talk to me all day tomorrow.

Me- Okay. :) Goodnight. Sweet dreams.

Thomas- Goodnight beautiful. Sleep well. :)

I put my phone away and decided to fall asleep for the night. I liked Thomas. But I still loved Steven.
