I woke up the next morning and I was still in the same position as I fell asleep, I had my hand on Luther's head, and my other arm on Addison's stomach. I carefully got out of bed and I notice that Grayson awake. I brought him down stairs and I set him in his high chair. "Want a banana or apple sauce?" I asked him. I held out the two, and he grabbed the banana from me. I opened it for him and cut it up into little pieces. I got a sippy cup and poured some milk into it for him also. I made some coffee for myself, and I sat watching Grayson trying to pick up his banana and he got angry. He was very behind on his development, and that scared me. He was almost one, and couldn't pick up a chunk of banana. He wasn't walking yet, barely crawling. All he liked to do is lay around and play with his toys. I helped him pick up the piece of banana with his hand and he put it in his mouth. Luther came down just as I helped him put in another piece. "Mornin' pretty lady. How'd ya sleep?" He asked in a cute sleepy voice. I smiled. "I slept well. I just wish it wasn't the three off us last night." I laughed. He shrugged. "I didn't mind. She's a sweetie." He explained. I smiled. "She's one of my best friends. She's really mature for her age." I explained. He nodded."Seems it." He laughed. I nodded. "She's been through a lot. She's a tough cookie." I explained to him. "Just like her momma." He stated. I looked at him embarrassed. "Nothing ta be ashamed of." He said scooting closer to me. I smiled at him and he came close enough to me, so I could kiss him. "We could take the kids to the beach today. And invite my family. Make a day of it. Your family is more than welcome too." I smiled and suggested. He nodded. "Let me go home and round up the troops, get some food and drinks and we can meet around 3 at our spot." He explained. "Sounds good." I said getting up to hug him goodbye. He hugged and kissed me goodbye, and I waved to him from the kitchen. I went up stairs to let my parents know what was going on, and they agreed. "I'll go shopping right now." My mom said throwing on a hat and flip flops. I nodded and got Addison up and lathered her in sunscreen. "Go pick out what bathing suit you want Beetle." I said pointing to her closet. In the mean time, I got Grayson lathered up with sunscreen and I put on his 'surfer' bathing suit. I slipped on a hat for him, so his head didn't burn and I set him on the ground to go play with his toys. Addison brought back her one piece tye-dye bathing suit and I helped her put it on. She walked over and got a pair of shorts to put on with them, and some flip-flops. "What towel do you want Beetle?" I asked her. She walked over to our bathroom and picked out the towel that matched her bathing suit. I did the same for Grayson. I slipped into a bathing suit for me. A two piece with a pair of shorts to cover up for now. I packed a bag for more sunscreen and our towels, my phone, my camera, and other things as well. By the time I was done getting the SUV pack with everyone's bags and beach chairs mom came home in Dad's truck with the flat bed full of groceries. Lucas sorted through the cold and non-cold stuff so that we could put the cold stuff in coolers. Dad loaded the grill into his truck. "Boys, and Olivia. Get into my SUV. You won't all fit in daddy's truck." I said wrangling the kids up. I helped all the kids buckle, and I got in with Lucas to help me take care of the kids. There were six kids in the back of my SUV. I turned on music for them, and it turned into kids-bop in the back seat. When we got to the beach, I made all the kids grab their own bags and some groceries to help mom and dad. We walked down on to the sand, and showed them where everyone else was. When we got there, I tried my best to introduce everyone. I walked over to Luther, as he was talking to one of his friends or family. I took another look and realized that it was Thomas. The guy that I blew off for Steven. I looked down, hoping he wouldn't remember who I was. "Suga. This is Thomas. My cousin." He said pointing. I nodded. "We've met. Nice to see you again." I said quietly. He smiled. "Oh. Hey." He said smugly. I hugged Luther and walked over to his dad. "Hello, I'm Amelia. And you are?" I asked holding my hand out. He smiled. "Heller Amelia, I'm Papa Frank. I'm Luther's dad." He explained. I nodded. "Nice to meet you finally. " I smiled. He nodded. "You know, Luther has done nothin' but speak at you all tha time." He laughed. Luther came over to retreieve me. "That's enough Paw." He said shooting him a look. I giggled. "You talk about me?" I joked. He smiled. "Well, when I got a perty lady like you bye my side, who wouldn't?" He asked kissing my head. "How'd ya know Tom?" He asked. I looked down. "We, talked for a while, he took me on a date, but it just didn't work." I explained. He nodded. "Oh, that's interesting." He hesitated. I frowned. I thought worse case senario. Here goes another guy that is perfect, all because I went on a date with his cousin. "I understand, if you have a bro code and you don't date exes or whatever." I muttered sad. He laughed. "Considerin' he's done it ta me, there is no 'bro code.' Don't cha worry." He said smiling and grabbing my face. I took a sigh of relief and I reached in to kiss him. I giggled when he pulled away and I just happened to look over at Grayson who was crawling toward the water. My mouth dropped."Mom! Look! He's crawling!" I said running to him before he hit the water. I picked him up and swung him around in happiness. "Grayson!!" I smiled at him. I put him down, and I let him continue to crawl. My mom got her phone out and took a picture of him, and I slipped off my shorts to bring him in the water. Luther noticed that I was going in, so he slipped off his shirt, and followed me in. He grabbed Sylvia, his youngest sister who looked like she was afraid of the water. "She's afraid of the water, but she will stay in one of our arms if she's not touching it." He said. I nodded. "Can I try something?" I asked. He looked at me nervous as I handed him Grayson, and she got into my lap. "Hi Sylvia. I'm Amelia. Your brother Luther's girlfriend." I said smiling at her. She smiled back, and she waved. "Hello." She smiled at me. "So, I was wondering, I am really good at helping people get over things that they are scared of, can I help you not be afraid of the water?" I asked. She hesitated. "I guess. Just don't let me go." She whined. I nodded. "I promise that I won't let you go. What I am going to do first, is I'm going to get on my knees, and I'm going to put you in my lap, so you're sitting on it. Okay?" I asked. She nodded. I moved in closer so I could put my knees down, and put her in. "At the bottom, there is sand. And some rocks. But they will not hurt you. Can we try and put your feet down?" I asked. She nodded and she got off my lap. I saw that Frank was looking at me in awe. I smiled. "Very good. I'm going to let go of one hand." I said letting go of her right hand. She got nervous. "It's alright. Don't panic. I have got you. Do you think that you can sit?" I asked. She looked at Luther who was smiling at her. She nodded. We moved in a little closer so a wave didn't splash her face. She sat down, and picked up some of the sand, and played with it. After a minute she let go of my other hand and was picking up the rocks to examine them, and put them back down. Eventually she got up, and she walked along the shore line on her own, until she saw Addison with Olivia, and she walked over to them and went to her waist. I nodded in satisfaction. "Wow." Luther said walking back up to me. I smiled. "I did something similar with my little brother Bentley when he was afraid to sit in the grass. Now, he eats it." I laughed. I took Grayson from him and let him play on the shore. I sat him down and he played with the sand. Luther got down with him and laid in front of him, blowing bubbles into the water making him laugh in hysterics. I quickly ran to get my phone, to take a picture, because I thought that it was adorable. I took the picture and handed my phone to my dad so he could take a picture of the three of us. I called over for Addison, and she came running. She got in front of me and Grayson in front of Luther, and he took the picture. "Mommy. I want to learn to swim like Uncle Lou." She said pointing to Lucas and Octive who were out swimming over their heads. "I can teach ya. If ya momma don't mind." Luther looked at me, and then at her. I shook my head. "Not at all." I smiled. He picked her up and brought her out a little ways, so she could still touch. I watched the two of them, and the way they interacted with each other. Addison really liked him, and Luther loved the kids. While watching them, Lucia Luther's oldest sister came over to talk to me. "I know that I ahve met you breaifly, but I think that what you are doing with these kids is amazing. Kuddos to you for being such a great single mom. Well, not so much single, but on your own." She explained. I nodded. "Their father is involved. He just needed a get away, he will return soon. But basically I do it alone everyday." I smiled. She nodded. "Luther, talks a lot about the kids, and how much he cares about them. But he doesn't want to tell you because he doesn't want you to think it's creepy, cause you've only been dating a month." She explained to me. I chuckled. "It's not creepy. I see the way he is with kids, and it makes my heart melt. Luther is something special, and I wouldn't him any other way." I explained. She nodded. "You guys are adorable. He shines, even when your name is mentioned. He loves ya girl. He's falling for ya hard and fast." She giggled. I nodded. "It's crazy, I feel like I've known him my whole life. It's amazing the way he makes me feel. I feel like a new person when I am with him. He has pulled me out of the rut I was stuck in for so long." I explained. I didn't realize that Luther was so close that he could hear us talking. "I feel the same way lovebug. Don't cha forget it." He winked at me. I blushed in embarrassment. She sat with me a little while longer until her sister called her back over. I sat with Grayson in the sand, and I watched him dig his feet into the sand. "I love you Grayson." I said tapping his knee lightly. He smiled. "Mama." He cooed. I looked at him and I started to cry. "Mama!" He said again. I laughed. I picked him up, and he was sleepy so he cuddled into my arms. I don't need anything more, than what I have now. My life was going so perfect.
