Matthew Lin:

Sunday, February 28th—

The worst possible news arrived yesterday. Someone in the Dawns Hospital nearly died from the bee attack and they had to spend around a hundred thousand dollars to get in touch with a Morso to rewind the patient's body condition.

Most people think it's a rip off because they're paying so much for someone who is born with the ability to help them out, but I think it's pretty worth it. First of all, you have to be at least level 15 to rewind someone else's body and it's not everyday you come across someone who is level 15. Most of them are probably off somewhere handling a big project instead of working at a hospital. For someone to be that powerful, you must spend years and years training and to be proficient in rewinding someone else, you have to go through a lot of practice. It's not easy to find a level 15 Morso nor one whose expertise is medicine.

I mean, Aaron can probably rewind people, but I'm not sure if he did it before. We mostly just rewind our own body when injured so we don't normally go to the doctor's as much. We can start rewinding ourselves from level 1, but if we want to rewind our whole body, like going from an adult to baby, it'll be around level 8. I have rewinded my body before, but there is really no use for it, you know?

Today, me and Emma are going into the underground laboratory in the forest. We're in her dorm right now so we can teleport without anybody spotting us. As expected, I'll be the one teleporting us.

"Can we go directly to the lab?" Emma asks. "You remember the location, right?" Hopefully I do because if I don't, we'll have to go through that crazy ride again. Thinking about it makes me sick. I wonder what it will be like if we take Aaron with us. My guess is that he'll faint.

"I think so," I say and I open up a portal. I bring us back in time just a little bit and immediately open up another portal that heads to the laboratory. Yay! I did it! Me and Emma walk into the portal and arrive in the laboratory. The lights are still on, but nobody is here.

"Why do you make these portals?" Emma asks. "Not the ones where you just fall in?"

"I don't like giving my riders too much of a shock," I say. Mostly because everytime that happens I have a panic attack, but it's not like I'll admit it. I only make those portals for other people when I'm annoyed at them or want to prank them.

"Bro, are we in the current time?" Emma asks.

"Yeah," I say.

"What's the use in that? I thought we wanted to see what the people did before we arrived there last summer," Emma says. She's not wrong, but I don't want to go back there.

"I just want to watch from here though," I say. "Don't tell me you want to actually go there. What if we get caught?"

"Then we can just escape," Emma says. "Easy-peasy." I give her a look that reads in-your-dreams and we both sit down while I open a portal that shows what happened in this lab in the past. I keep rewinding, looking for people who have visited the lab, but there's no one that came in here ever since the time me, Emma, and Roy were here.

"Rewind more," Emma says, now using her ability. "What if I turn it a few hours back?"

A few people suddenly appear on the screen. However, they are wearing masks and coats so we can't see them properly. There is someone we recognize though, Vicky Ng. She came with the coated people and they're pulling something up on the screen.

"Told you we should go back," Emma says. "Then we can see them better."

"You want us to be spotted?" I say. "Vicky would know we're spying on her since the beginning of the year if we did that."
