Matthew Lin:
Friday, June 18th—
It's time for the level test.
The students are all outside getting their levels tested at the same time. The levels of the students in each class are added up and whichever class improves the most gets a party or something. Only thing is, I believe the levels the teacher has in the beginning of the school year is a bit inaccurate. Needless to say, Mr. A definitely has the real list. Whether or not he's going to use the list is another problem.
Unfortunately, the A classes are grouped by the A classes and the worst thing is that Zachary is in Class A. He's standing by me too.
"What are you looking at?" he asks bossily. I ignore him. Not worth my time.
Daisy is in the same class as him and I don't see her going around bullying students.
"Who knew such weaklings can be in Class A?" Zachary comments. Why do I mentally and physically remember beating him into a pulp before? So weird, right?
"Can't you shut up?" Roy spits right in his face. "Go fight somewhere else. You're being distracting."
"What are you doing to do about it?" Zachary argues back. Zachary is about the same height as George so he towers over us, but I can tell he's not daring at all, just a whole lot of pretending.
We're all lined up in the middle of our class so it's going to take a while as the teachers are measuring everyone's levels three times each to make sure it's accurate.
Aaron's class is lined up next to Zachary's other side so it's a shame. I would've loved it if their lines switched. Aaron's actually getting his level tested out right now no on the screen, I see a big 17 next to his name. Aaron's full name is written smaller than everyone else's because it's too long. The students and teachers watch in shock as Aaron cheers for himself. He grew another level. Well, that's what happens when you're part of the Morso Family and is the son of the Family leader.
Everybody's levels are shown on the slide when they're measured and there's another slide for keeping track of the points. Let's just say not everybody in the school is as strong as I imagined. There were even ones and twos. I didn't think people that weak can make it into the school. First of all, it might be dangerous if they can't keep up with the courses and also the bullying must the terrible. It's very likely they were picked on.
However, the good thing is that the classes mostly improved the same amount. People in Class As might be stronger, but it doesn't mean they improved the most.
"Wait until you see how much I've improved," Zachary says. "You'll be shocked."
"Wait until we spoil your graduation day," Emma says. "You'll be shocked." Me and Emma have been seriously planning to bring cauliflowers to Zachary's graduation and sneaking in somehow. Then, when he walks across the stage, we'll throw the vegetable right in his face. It'll be satisfying, but the only thing is how we're going to do that without getting caught. Maybe we can teleport away fright after, but I don't want to ruin other people's graduation day though.
"Don't you dare," Zachary says. "but it's not like you guys can do anything anyway. You're too weak."
"Yeah right," I say. "You're stupid." His buddies have a laugh and so does everyone else around us. They must understand the troubles I'm going through, having to listen to this stupid person talk.
"George's going next," Emma says. "Let's see his score." I see George sit in the chair and Lily put something on his finger. George activates his ability and a score immediately comes on the board under the name, George Hum.
