Tuesday, March 2nd—
"Let's go," Matthew says as me, Aaron, and him make our way to the teleportation portal. It's time to head back to school and I am not excited. However, before we do that, we'll be stopping my Maria's Hair Salon and hopefully, I can get a new hairstyle. I'm thinking of curling my hair, although I don't know how long that'll take. Maybe I'll dye my hair another color. I don't know. This is the first time in my life I can do this and why do I want it to continue being just brown? I want some highlights and maybe bangs.
"Coming!" I shout so he can hear me. The three of us spent a long day yesterday recruiting new knights. Jane, Kansas, and Donne will be commanders for now because they are the older batch and because the general is still not back. Anyway, I recruited a lot less knights because it's not like we need anyone to guard the area. The knights are just inspecting the people who enter and leave the mansion and help protect the Family Leader.
Our aunt is still not back from her trip. To be honest, I didn't want to meet any other family members until the end of the school year because I want to know how it feels like to be away from them for such a long time and then seeing them again. Maybe it'll be touching and maybe it'll just feel like a normal day. Who knows?
"Do I really have to go?" Aaron asks. I don't know why Aaron hates styling his hair. It's so much fun! I mean, I like my blonde hair, but when I have to hide it, I might as well go crazy with the style.
The knights see us out even though I've told them a million times not to, but I appreciate it. If they are trustworthy, it doesn't matter how they act, you know? Plus, I feel bad for having to be so cold to them. However, the feeling of being able to give orders to an adult is pretty satisfying, especially disobedient ones like Kansas.
"Maria's Hair Salon, Dawns," Aaron says when we reach the teleportation portal. It's the only portal here apart from the time portal located on the side of the Mansion. All of the other times, the four abilities won't work so the Morso Family has a separate facility for when our ability is needed to be used.
We wave goodbye to the knights and appear in another teleportation portal located in the hair salon. This salon is famous and so that's why it has a portal of its own.
"Are we just going to go out like this?" I ask. I mean, wouldn't that kind of ruin me and Matthew's identities as the Morso Twins? Not that anyone would realize we're twins, but still, Aaron's face is going to attract a lot of people.
"You two can switch up your ages," Aaron says. A brilliant idea suddenly comes to me.
"You know, I've always wondered what it feels like to be the older one," I say. "And what it feels like to be older than my cousin and bigger brother." Matthew and Aaron both sigh at the sametime, which is so rude, but I guess they got the idea.
"Can you? Pretty please," I say. I want them to turn into a child and I'll turn into a grown up. Then we can walk out and it'll be so cool!
"No," Matthew says. "I am not doing so."
"A new violin and sheet music," I say.
"Deal," he says. Aaron already started to turn himself into a child and damn, I don't remember him looking this way. They are probably expecting me to turn myself older, but nope. I'm going to turn myself just a couple of years older than what they are going to turn into. It'll seem like I'm back in my childhood with two younger brothers. This will be amazing.
Aaron and Matthew both turn themselves into 5 year olds and I turn myself into a good 7 year old. I've a head taller than both of them and it feel so great. I can finally pat Aaron and Matthew heads! I'v always wanted to do that. This is what they get for bullying me all the time.
