dear cedric

i guess i should start off with we're i've been, although i can't disclose my exact location i can say i'm somewhere safe in england. 

now i realize this isn't like our monthly letters to see how my sisters doing. not to scare you but this is a warning.

i've heard rumors cedric nasty rumors involving you know who and my sister, i've tried everything in my power to keep that little girl safe and although i know she hates me and thinks i hate her i had to do it i had to leave to keep her safe you understand that right.

i love her more than anything and she probably thinks i'm dead, it's best to leave it that way. she can't know who her biological father is cedric you can't tell her about what the mark means. she's still to far young for any sort of power like that and if the rumors are true he'll come looking for her.

there wasn't a minute that went by the cedric didn't reread that letter ben had sent him. trying to understand exactly what he meant. he knew that if aria was anything like ben she was a lose canon ducking fearless to anything. it just took the right motivation for her to realize that which had not yet happened to cedric's knowledge.

in all the months she's been at hogwarts cedric's been watching out for her from afar so he had a feeling aria was up to something when he saw her along with harry neville and aurora in the court yard speaking in whispers.

it's wasn't much past dark out when cedric cornered aria once he caught her sneaking out of the slytherin common rooms.

"and what do you think you're doing" he questioned as he trailed along behind her aria never acknowledging his presence.

"walking what else" she remarked starkly. she along with harry aurora and neville had a plan to go down the trap door it was just a matter of getting cedric away from her. 

"ariana lillian dumont stop right there" he shouted aria merly stopped in her tracks. no less than ten feet away was harry aurora and neville watching behind a corner at the two siblings

"what cedric" she snapped, he couldn't quite make out the expression on her face. anger confusion annoyance.

"i'm just, i wanted to check up on you we never talk anyone" he sighed placing a hand on her shoulder.

"yea communication is a two way road don't you think" she said before walking away leaving him standing there. he knew his sister well enough to know when she was hurting. she would always lash out on this day particularly. today marking five years since ben 'abandoned' her. she had every right in the world to lash out at everyone

"so are we doing this or not" aurora asked as the four approached the door with the three headed dog inside

"we'll be fine as long as we're together right" neville asked they all nodded

"always now let's do this" aria said as they opened the door quietly to see fluffy snoring with a harp playing in the background all immediately knowing snape had already been there

"we have to move its paw" harry said as the four stood around it. the four picking up a side a pushing fluffy a paw over to the side

"okay that wasn't so bad" aria huffed as harry opened the trap door suddenly the room went quite. the harp stopped playing none of the four dared move a muscle
