Kendall made a choice. He remember the night he gave Eden and Carolyn his word. A choice he made a promise gave. He knew it would always come down to this. There are people you meet that lead you down a path. It's the choice you make whether you stay on that path.

He knew what he had to do. He always knew that one day it would come to this. Kendall tries running from his past. Running to keep a promise he gave. He saw a familiar face in town. Someone who he thought he would never see again. Kendall was at the post office where he was making a called to Mr. Anderson. It was the only payphone in town. He called again asking if he could come back. Mr. Anderson yelled at him; do you think you can go back to your old life. Its over Kendall you have a job to do I expect nothing less. Kendall was going to reply but all there was left was the dial tone. It's been two years since he ran away and hold up in this tiny town in the middle of nowhere. There was no television the newspapers were weeks old. Kendall knew nothing on how things were going. His past life he knew nothing. It frustrated him. Its as if Mr. Anderson sent him here to forget about him. Kendall just got off the phone with Mr. Anderson, he was hoping he could come back. Kendall sighed Mr. Anderson said no and gave him a list of numbers. Kendall scribble it on a piece of paper. Sigh thought Kendall will he ever be able to go home. He came out of the Post Office and saw Stanton across the street asking questions to one of the fisherman. Kendall had to act fast before he was found out. Kendall headed to his car he notice Ivan was getting out of his Car. Ivan had is own boat and made his living fishing. Hey Ivan can you do me a favor. Sure Kendall what can i do for you. Kendall pointed there a man across the street looking for me, tell him you know where i am and take him to the Cove. He gave Ivan gas money to take Stanton out to the Cove. Take your time a couple of days should do it. Also if you pretend to get lost that will give me more time. Ok, Ivan said, this should be fun. Kendall watch as Ivan took Stanton to the docks where his boat was mooring. At first Stanton was suspicious but Ivan was convincing and soon they were heading out to the Cove. Kendall got in his car and went to the fishing camp to talk to Adrik. The camp was just a couple of buildings by the ocean pier. Kendall asked Adrik if he would be available to take him to these coordinates. Adrik looks at the piece of paper Kendall handed to him and got out a map of the area. Sure, Kendall I can do that. Kendall gave Adrik money for gas and supply. He told him when he will be ready to leave. Adrik said that's find it should give me enough time to get the boat ready. Kendall shook Adrik hand ok buddy I'll see you then. Kendall walk to his car look around the camp it was empty. Most folks have gone home after working all night. He got in and drove away. Hopefully he would be able to get Carly out in time. He pulled up to the trailer where Dani and he lived. Here things were different. Kendall still had his suits pack in their suitcase. When he left town in a hurry. He never unpack them. You don't need suits up here. He got out of the car. It wasn't anything facing like his Chevy Chevelle he had. Kendall looks around the mountains still had snow on them. The seagulls flying over the ocean. It was different here. Here there were no parties. No one to socialize with, most of the people kept to themselves. Kendall went inside heading to the fridge he opens it and grab a cold one while yelling for the girls. Melody Charly come here, Kendall said. Where are those two. Melody 6 with red ponytails and Charly 5 with short brown hair. The girls ran into the kitchen. What up dad said Melody. Grab your coat girls we're going for a ride.

Swinging his drink back he swallows his decision and threw it in the trash. Come on Charly you must hurry we have to go, he yelled. Kendall was frantically putting the girls clothes into a suitcase. Why? Said Charly where are we going, and I can't find my shoes. Kendall kneeled and looked Charly in the eye, "you and your sister must stay at the orphanage. Why? Charly asked, I don't like it there. Kendall said I made a promise to someone. Who asked Charly? Kendall found Charly shoes and help her put them on. Charly you must listen an do as I say Kendall said. He must hurry and go before it's too late. Before the assassin find Charly again. Come on girls let's go. Kendall yelled.

Charly yelled I can't leave without Harry papa.

Leave him Kendall said as he grasps Charly arm and push her out the door. He grabs his keys and lock the door. But dad I want Harry Charly cried. Harry was a huge stuffed lion animal given to her by Eden. They ran out of the trailer that was in a small town by the ocean. It was cloudy and you could hear the seagulls chirping over the seas.

Papa, I don't want to go said Charly. Papa put the suitcase in the trunk and closed it. He bent down and look Charly in the eye. You must go it's for your own good.

He helps Charly into the car and got in. Kendall looks in the mirror at the two girls in the backseat with a heavy heart he started the car. He hopes he was in time.

It was a long drive out to the orphanage it's the only place he could think of to keep her safe. He headed to the one place where he knew Stanton would never look.

The orphanage was twenty-five miles outside of town down a long bumpy dirt road.

It was far away from town and hopefully where Stanton wouldn't look.

Taking the girls to the orphanage where they will be with friends and people they know. Kendall swore on his life to keep Carly safe, and he will. A choice he made a promise gave. He remembers the night he gave Eden and Carolyn his word. He also remembers the choice he made that led him to them.
