Celebrity party at the Beverly hotel

It was the talk of the town. Tonight, was the night of the Celebrity Party. It was being held at the Beverly Hotel. Everyone was working hard to make it a spectacular event. Betty, George wife was making sure it would be perfect. She was meticulously about it. The gala event would be the final touches on her husband George premiere. It was showing at the Academy Theatre tonight.

Later the guest arrived. Limo after Limo exiting and waving to the crowd. They line up to see who would be going to the event of the year. Photographer flashing. Crowd screaming when the stars arrived. Kendall exited his car and gave the keys to the valet. He walks over to the passenger side and open the door. Kendall helps Dani out of the Car. She was beautiful tonight, wearing a fitted green off the shoulder dress. She wore a simple strand of pearls around her neck. The green may her eyes sparkle. Looking at her almost made him forget how plain she really was underneath all that makeup. She wore red lipstick which work well with the dress. Her Sister Marv must of help her with that. Dani wore white gloves that reach for his hand as she exit the car. They enter the opulent hotel that was lit spectacular. The women in brilliant dresses and flashy jewelry. The men in formal tux. They were all heading to the ballroom. Thousands of massed white chrysanthemums and 10-foot-high trees in massive Chinese Urns transform the ballroom in to a classic oriental splendor. Silver candelabras holding slim 2-foot-high moss green candles adorn the tables. The dance floor sparkling with gems flashing from above.

It was a site to see. Kendall led Dani to the table that was chosen for them. He was greeted by his friends. George and his wife Betty, Frank and Mia, Bob and the lovey Deloris where already seated. Dani was dazed at all the glamor that surround her.

Kendall looks around. Among the guests were Audrey, Grace. He saw Elizabeth and Richard chatting at another table with Cecil and Marisa. The Ballroom was luxuriously with highly refined taste of its patrons. Through the course of dinner, they chatted. They laugh at Bob jokes. The food was exotic and super just like the host were. Betty made sure everything was in place. She was an excellent hostess.

As the waiter were clearing the last of the plates Kendall asked Dani to dance. Dani was about to say no when Kendall grasps her arm and whisper in her ear "I won't let you down. I'm an extremely good dancer. Dani looks up at Kendall and chuckle I'm sure you are.

Kendall led Dani to the dance floor. The bandstand was surround by Chinese boxwood hedges and humongous white flower arrangements.

The abundant of the floral display throughout the ballroom had all of Betty touches. The smell was pleasantly smoothly.

Kendall led Dani to the dance floor and guide her into the waltz that was playing. Dani was hesitating but Kendall smooths her fears by leading her on the dance floor. He quietly whispers in her ear just follow my lead and you'll do find.

As he dances, he saw Camilla. She looks lovely tonight dress in red. It brought out her blond highlights in her long curly hair. He glances around while he was dancing and saw many others that he recognized. He also saw Leroy making the rounds talking to the ladies. He watches him. That was all Kendall could do now. He saw the fellow Nate that was always hanging around George. He was there with a beautiful brunette.

Kendall saw the lovely couple Eden and Carolyn and after the music pause, he headed towards them. Eden, Carolyn said Kendall. I like you to meet the lovely Dani. They chatted about the ball and how lovely it all was. Kendall invited them to lunch, and they agree.

Dani was amazed at the splendor of the ball. She was excited when she got her picture taken with the stars. Later as Kendall wraps a fur shawl around Dani neck. She asked him if she could have a copy of the picture with the stars. Kendall chuckled, so now I see why you wanted to come tonight. No, no it was lovely going with you Dani reply.

They venture outside to a line of cars. The valet gave Kendall the keys and he open the car door for Dani. Kendall thought another party over. He had yet to find the information he was looking for.

Kendall had decided to marry Dani that night. It was the perfect coverup. She was smart so he didn't have to entertain her. She was also not his type. Though she held herself well, there wasn't anything glamorous about Dani. She would do. It would get him into the parties that were for couples only. It would make him more respectable. They say to find information about a man talk to the wife first. No one would question you if you're married. He pulled up to where Dani lived with her parents. Kendall parks his black Chey Chevelle and got out. He opens her door and walks Dani to the front door. Kendall said he had a lovely evening an asked if he could call her sometime this week. She smiled and agreed. He kissed her cheek and said his goodbyes. Dani watches him leave. He was so dreamy, she thought. She enters to find Queeny waiting. Oh mom, you didn't have to wait up. Queeny laugh. I'm not checking up on you, your old enough. I just want to hear about the party. Was it as glamorous as they say? Dani laughed and sat while Queeny made her a cup of coffee. It was early morning the bird were chirping. Everything looks wonderful because Dani knew she just met her knight in shining armor. Oh, mom it was so glamours. Dani went on to talk about her night dancing with the stars.
