Marv didn't know how she was going to convince her nerdy sister to come to the party Friday. She was always working. She'll just have to hijack her from work. Marv would have to plan everything. Marv was in her room ruffly through her closest. She was seeing what she could wear to the party. Her mom Queeny enters and asked what she was doing. Holding two dresses, Marv reply. Deciding what to wear to a party on Friday. Marv looking at the dresses said, Mom, I don't have anything that will work. Queeny asks where the party was going to be held. A friend invited me to a producer's house in Homley. We'll Queeny said, you'll just have to buy a new one. Something spectacular. Queeny said. Marv put the dresses back in the closet. I'm also taking Dani. said Marv. Dani, Queeny chuckle she doesn't do parties. I know said Marv. I was asked nicely by this gentleman. His name is Kendall. I met him at the restaurant where Dani and I were having lunch. He invited us both to go. Well Queenly said, I know of this boutique downtown. It next to this tailor shop. Let's go there and see what they have. Alright said Marv. Let's pick up Dani at work before she gets too engrossed in her books. Queeny laughs your so right. Queeny went to the mirror and applied lipstick. She made sure her hair was in place. You never know who you might meet, thought Queeny. Come on mom. Let's go before they closed. Marv hugged her and glance in the mirror. Your always beautiful mom, Marv said.

Marv pulled up to the boutique that Queeny was raving about. She parked in front and got out. Queeny was talking to Dani about the boutique and how great their dresses were. Marv look at the Chevy Chevelle in front. That's odd she thought. She seen that car before. Queeny, Dani, and Marv enter the boutique. Bonjour Dames the owner reply. Come let me show you these fabulous dresses that just came in from Paris today. The owner was flamboyant in a green ruffle dress. She had red hair and ruby lips. It was a striking look on her. Dani was mumbling that she didn't want to be here. Marv shoo her, don't worry so much. We will find you the perfect dress. Dani reply, I really don't have time for this. Marv reply, you're going this Friday. I know you don't have anything to wear. Marv look at Dani, if I'm going this Friday so are you. she exclaimed. Now girls no fighting Queeny said. She turns to the owner and smile we would love to see those dresses.

They spent the next hours trying on all the dress, laughing at each other when it didn't fit or was outlandish.

Kendall exits the tailor shop and notice the car park behind him. He knew that car. He looks around and notice the boutique. Marv and Dani are looking at dresses. He hopes they would come this Friday to George's Party. Kendall got in his Chevy Chevelle and drove away.

Later the girls exit laughing and giggling holding their dresses cover in plastic. I can't wait to wear this exclaimed Marv. Will have to find just the right shoes. Said Marv. Shoes Dani exclaimed; I don't have time to go shoe hunting with you. I need to get back to the lab. I have a lot of reading to do. Said Don't you worry sis this won't take long. Marv said. Queeny gently put the dresses in the trunk closed it and got in. Don't worry Dani we will find just the right shoe for that dress. Said Queeny. Ugh said Dani who sat gloomy in the back seat. Marv drove off and laugh you hate shoe shopping anyways.
