All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.
Friedrich Nietzsche
The life Kendall had was gone.
Mr. Anderson was on the phone. He called all his best agents. They will be arriving soon. Yes, sir, he replies. I have the information you requested. Ok, sir, we will execute it tonight. He put down the phone as Warren knocks on the door. Warren pokes his head in and replies, there here sir. Good Warren, assemble them in the meeting room. Ok, said Warren. Mr. Anderson put on his suit jacket and straighten his tie. He made sure there was no dust on his suit jacket. He looks at his shoes and took a cloth to them. Tonight, is what he work hard for all these years. It's just too bad Kendall couldn't be here to witness his handiwork. Kendall was the best agent he trained. He was the reason that Mr. Anderson could do what he was planning tonight. Mr. Anderson left the room and went into the meeting room. They were all here. Twelve of the best men he trained. They stood at attention when he enters. None of them utter a word. They knew the rules and what he expected of them. Mr. Anderson spoke, tonight we finish what we started after the war. It has been given to me by a good agent who is not here tonight. Let me remind you of the rules that we live by. What are they, Mr. Anderson said?
They spoke verbality:
Rule number 1 "never reveal your true self. "
Rule number 2 "always be two steps ahead "
Rule number 3 "don't believe what you're told always double-check"
Rule number 4 "Always be specific when you lie"
Rule number 5 "Never take anything for granted"
Rule number 6 "When the job is done, walk away"
Rule number 7 "Never put your trust in another person"
Rule number 8 "Never get personally involved"
Rule number 9 "Never let anyone suspect what you're doing"
Rule number 10 "Always trust your gut"
Why do we live by these rules, demanded Mr. Anderson?
Anyone? A tall blond man spoke. So, we may live sir. That is right, said Mr. Anderson.
Tonight, we will take down those who will obstruct our great country. Do not be swayed by what they say. Remember your rules. Tonight, we will be joined by the task force that is assigned in this area. They will help with the arrested. We are heading to Homely. There will be a lot of people there. Only take those who are on the list that you memorized. Do not stop to talk to anyone. Do not answer any questions. Do you understand? asked Mr. Anderson. Yes, Sir they reply. Then let's go get them.
Betty looks lovely tonight dressed in a sea-green off-the-shoulder dress. She planned everything. Tonight, was another party to support her husband George's new film. She invited all her friends. Frank and his lovely wife Mia. Bob and Delores. Mimi and Camilla. Nancy and Janas. She knew friends of George would be there. Betty walks through her house. Everything was in perfect order. The flower from her garden adorns the atrium. She walks through the living room and straightens a pillow here and there. The cooks were busy preparing the feast. She chatted with the head cook. Did you take enough wine out of the cooler Samuel? Yes madam. Everything must be perfect tonight. The dining room gleamed with the mahogany wood table. It was lavish decorated with her best silverware. The light from outside sparkles on crystal stemware.
