I am not someone who likes cocktail parties or large dinner parties, but I have to attend them often. I much prefer very small dinners with close friends.

Tom Ford

Dinner Party at George's.

It was at one of George's parties that Kendall met a girl name Camilla.

George love to party but the true pleasure was his wife Betty who love to host. Like many great hostesses she was meticulously about the guest lists, seating arrangements, table settings, menus, wines, and flowers. Betty was tall and willowy. Her brown hair always done up in the latest fashion. Her outfits were never the same always so glamourous. She brought a sense of grace and dignity to every party.

Kendall found them down by the pool house. It was just like that, always cozy, warm, good friends. He found the men gathered around George as he told them of the latest project he was working on. There were the actors, Dan, Al, Charles, Ed, and Sam. George closest friends, Ron, Matt and John. Of course, his friends Frank and Bob were here. Hi Kendall George said, as he shook his hand. I was just telling the boys here what I am working on. George goes on to tell them. The girls Audrey, Grace, Marisa, Del, Marylin, and Liz were surrounding Betty. Along with Betty closet friends, Deloris, Mimi and Nancy. They all were by the pool casually talking about fashion and the upcoming Celebrity Party. Camilla and her friends Janas, Francis and Lulu where there. Later they all headed to the dining room. It was aglow in candlelight. There were four bowls of open roses lay out on the beautiful table. Coffee and cordials were served in the expansive living room. Where a forest of white orchids in Chinese pots graced the baby grand piano. The food was always spectacular. Kendall adores the Caviar and smoked salmon with avocados. Then they were served boned stuffed chicken with straw potatoes, carrots, and asparagus. The best was save for last. Fresh peach ice cream with peaches and raspberries. Raspberry sauce pour over it and lace cookies adorn it. Everything was crafty put together. After dinner, Betty had Frank at the piano playing his favorite songs. George told funny stories, and some not so funny.

Bob would tell a few of his own and had everyone laughing at him. These were his friends that he parties with. George, Frank, and Bob.

Betty the Los Angeles socialite who was known for her parties.

George was a tall man with dark hair and a mustache. You would always find George in an evening jacket white shirt and a bow tie. He was always carrying a glass of tonic and smoking a cigar. George would hold them in one hand and go shaking hands with the other. George was a jolly guy who always struck up conversations with the best of them.

One of George friend was a man name Bill. Bill has everything. Charming, good looks and talent. He knew how to use it. He was very charming with the ladies. Bill was also very talkative. Kendall could always find out what's going on in the Hollywood scene when talking to him. Bill was tan and comfortable in a sporting jacket with good luck symbols. Bill was talking about the Oscar. Saying, he now knew what Marlon felt like.

Kendall spent some time talking to him. Mostly he just sips his drink and listen. He asked questions when he needed to, but Bill did most of the talking. George was making the rounds and Kendall shook Bill hands and venture off. He went up to Betty and kiss her hand. What a lovely party. Said Kendall. The dinner was delicious. Thank you so much for inviting me. He spoke. Betty smiles your always welcome Kendall. Do you know Camilla, Francis and Janas. Asked Betty. Hello ladies he took each of their hands and brush a kiss. Its lovely to see all of you. He asked how they were doing and complement on how lovely they look. He listens to them speak imputing when it was needed. He then said his goodbyes to George and Betty. He offers to walk Camilla to her Car. She chuckled as she held on to his arm. Always looking out for me Kendall. Kendall smile down at her. Always he said as they walk out the door.
