It was a big deal the Celebrity Party. All of Los Angeles was talking about it. Who would be there and what they would be wearing? It was the topic being discussed at the beauty salon that Dani was getting her hair done. Everyone was commenting on who would be there. Dani was telling everyone that she was going to be famous once she completed the project she was on. What project? Her hair dresser Angie asked? Oh, I can't say. It's very hush hush said Dani. Dani went on to tell everyone how important she was. That she was going to look great in the photos. Dani wanted to look her best for the upcoming party. Going to be in the photos with the celebrities. Said Dani. On and on Dani went on talking about herself. Not once mentioning that it was her sister that got her the ticket. When someone mention if her sister was going. She laughed who Marv she doesn't even like parties. She such a bookworm. Dani went on and on talking about herself. Little did she know that the book worm just enters the salon only to turn around and storm out.

Marv was furious and storm home slamming the door. Her mother Queeny was in the kitchen cooking. Queeny came out of the kitchen. She asked, is everything all right dear? No mom Marv scoffed. Marv slam down her keys on the couch with her purse. I can't believe what she said. Of all the things me a bookworm. Marv exclaims. How could she mom, whine Marv. Queeny sat Marv down at the kitchen table. You know Dani only thinks of herself. Here have some freshly bake cookies and tell mommy dearest what Dani said to make you so mad.

Oh, mom do you know what Dani said about me? What deary. Said Queeny. Marv told her what Dani said. Queeny smile, and said, that sound just like her. She always talks like that. Dani can only see herself. It's hard to get mad at someone that doesn't know why your mad at them. So, what do I do mom? Marv whine. Marv was mad that Dani talks about her like that. None of it was true, she said. She the bookworm who doesn't like to go to parties, Marv exclaimed. Queenly smile we'll you can always outperform her. That will really make her mad. Thanks mom, Marv said and grab a cookie. Marv headed to her room to come up of ways to outperform Dani. She looks in the mirror. Looks she got. She was more beautiful than Dani. Dani had a way of making you feel bad or worse about yourself. Dani can say those horrid things about her. She can give you the look, all she wants Marv thought. In the end Marv was better at parties and she will show Dani just that. Dani was aways awkward and stumble over what to say. Marv smile looking at herself in the mirror, I'll just bring that out. Will see, who will get those pictures with the Celebrities.
