Kendall watch as Dani hugged the girl and walk to her car. He wonders who the blond was. She was tall and graceful unlike Dani who was anything but graceful. He watches Dani drive away. The other girl still sat at the table. Here was Kendall opportunity. Kendall exits his car and cross the street. Kendall enters the restaurant. He walks over to where the beautiful blonde sat. She was engrossed in reading about the upcoming Celebrity Party. Kendall pauses by a waitress. He asked if she could bring him a cup of coffee. He stood in front of the girl and asked are you going? She looks up and reply what? Kendall asked again are you going? Sorry, he put out his hand and said Kendall my name. May I sit. Marv took his hand and smile of course. Kendall asks again are you going? The celebrity party of course said Marv. The waitress brought him his cup of coffee. They chatted about who they might see there. Kendall asked if the other girl was going? Who asked Marv? Kendall reply, the girl that left, what's her name? Dani, Marv laugh can you believe it. She wants me to get her a ticket. Dani the book worm wants to go to a party, she chuckled. Kendall sipped his coffee. Thinking of an opportunity. Do you know who she'll go with, Kendall asked. Dani, Marv laugh. All she has is her books. They chatted about the party. Kendall sipping his coffee mention about his friend George. The party he was having this weekend at his house. Kendall asked if Marv and her sister Dani would like to go. Who George, Marv asked? George is the producer that make films. He mentions the latest movie out. Marv stare at him. You know him? Oh yes, he's a friend of mine. George's has fabulous parties at his home in Homley. You should come, Kendall said. Marv smile it will be an honor to come. Kendall scribbles the address on the napkin and handed it to her. It's this Friday at eight. He put the cup down and a five. He smiled and said I'll see you there. Kendall turned and strolled out of the restaurant. Marv watched him go thinking how on earth can she convince Dani to go with her. She'll think of something. She finishes her coffee and left. Heading home to tell her mom all about what Dani wanted to do.
