Dancing is the loftiest, the most moving, the most beautiful of the arts, because it is no mere translation or abstraction from life; it is life itself.

Kendall future would be forever intertwined with them.
That night Kendall drove his Chevy Chevelle to the Beverly Hotel. It was Hollywood's grandest hotel with the brightest lights, the ultimate beacon of glamor. Kendall park his black Chevy Cheville. He got out and handed the attendant his key. He straightens his tux. He hopes that tonight would be successful. His job was to listen to gather info to pass on to Mr. Anderson. Kendall was good at what he did, he blended in well. He was not a remarkable man. He knew how to blend in and be unnoticeable. A good oh boy. Kendall put on a smile and walk up the red-carpet stairs. Two doormen open the gold-plated doors. He enters the luxurious Hotel. The grand staircase was sparkling reflecting the crystal rose chandeliers. He enters the ballroom, starring at the built-in stage and dance floor. A glamorous Art Deco space with spectacular rose chandeliers. French doors overlooking the Crystal Garden and gazebo. The music was blaring, and everyone was here mingled and gossiping. Kendall took a drink and smile and said his hello. Kendall, hey buddy, said Frank. I would like you to meet someone. That is when it happens that night. It was just a hello, but it would change his life forever. His buddy Frank wanted him to meet a couple that just flew in from Europe. Eden and Carolyn. It was just the two he was told to get closed too. Mr. Anderson wanted to know why the Russians were so interested in their country. Why these two were of interested. Kendall was to find out why Eden and Carolyn were here in Los Angeles. Hello Kendall said with a smile. It's so good to see you. It begins with a smile and a warm handshake. Kendall begins to intertwine himself with them. Learning, asking question and before they knew it, they became friends. Friends that had known each other forever. That is what Kendall did. He was good at it. They say Kendall the best. The best at this. They invited me to lunch later in the week and I happily agree. Here was my chance.

Itwas another beautiful afternoon in the sunny Los Angeles. Kendall was drivinghis black Chevy Chevelle. He was heading over to "Frankie's" to have lunch withCarolyn and Eden. A lovely couple he had just met. It was an old Hollywood restaurant that was a favorite of the stars. He been there many times. Usually with George, Bob, or Frank. It was the place to eat if you wanted to be seen. He parks his Chevy Chevelle out front. The restaurant had white walls with a big green sign pointed to Frankie's. Nothing fancy on the outside but the moment you walk in, it shows the Hollywood grander. You except nothing less. The waiter would greet you in a pressed red jacket, white shirt, and black bow tie. Looking always sharp. Kendall was greeted and he acknowledge who he was meeting. The waiter usher him through the room. The tables were adorned in white tablecloths with gleaming serve ware. The backdrop of Mahoney wood and red leather cushions set the mood for the luxury that one was a custom too. He nodded to celebrity Elizabeth and Richard that he knew as he passed. He came to a table where the lovely Carolyn sat with her husband Eden. Eden stood and shook Kendall hand. Kendall, thank you for coming. You met my lovely wife Carolyn. Hello Kendall said as he took her hand and brush a kiss. Kendall sat facing them. Thank you for inviting me. Said Kendall.
They order the special of the day corn beef and cabbage. Carolyn was sipping a martini. Kendall you should try one these. They are delicious said Carolyn. Kendall motion for the waiter to come. Kendall smile and told the waiter that Carolyn said that the Martinis here are the best. So, I'm going to try one. He smiled at the waiter. The waiter reply be right back. Kendall usually has scotch on the rock, but he been here before and knew Carolyn was right. Eden chucked at his wife. Kendall looks at Eden what he replies. You have to excuse my wife she thinks everyone should be married. Carolyn smile and politely asked why aren't you married yet Kendall. Kendall smile and took the Martini from the waiter. I will when I meet the right girl. Kendall asked about Carolyn and Eden home and why they were in Los Angeles. He asked about Carolyn family and if she missed them. Carolyn sigh, I do miss my mama and papa, but it is best that I'm here. Being home right now would cause to much stress for them. I'm sorry to hear that said Kendall. After the plates were removed and the waiter brought them another round of martinis, Kendall raises his glass to Eden and Carolyn. May we be friends forever. He saluted them.
Kendall didn't realize that in that moment he set his fate. That his future would be forever intertwine with them.
In the next month's Kendall did everything to make them feel welcome in this sunny city. He also gains their trust. He was convinces the only reason they were here was for the doctor visits that Carolyn goes to. Mr. Anderson disagreed with Kendall. Find out why they are really here.
