Kendall learns many things about Eden and Carolyn. He learns that Carolyn was born to rule and train at birth to be one of them. A noble taught at a very young age. How to walk, talk, and breathe nobility. There was no room for playing, there was only the crown. The duty to the kingdom that Carolyn would one day rule. As it was until the day she met Eden. He was the duke of Attenborough. A city in the northern realm of the kingdom her father ran. Eden wasn't what Carolyn thought a duke should be like. Carolyn thought all dukes were prim and proper, stuffy, and old. But Eden was different he went out of his way to make Carolyn laugh. Later Eden would tell Carolyn that her laughter made him smile. To this day so many years later Eden still made Carolyn laugh and enlighten her. Eden was Carolyn's rock when her world was crumbling around her. Eden and Carolyn were married when she turned eighteen. Everyone was celebrating and joyous occasion. All but one, Carolyn Uncle Artie. It was several years later that Carolyn found out that her uncle was jealous of her. Artie was consumed with jealously for the crown. He thought it was his God-given right to be king, not his brother. Artie was humiliated when the crown passed to his brother and then down to his niece. How could his father do that to him? He after all was the true heir to the throne.

Carolynwas obvious of this being newly marry. Her mother the Queen saw the jealousyand fear for her daughter life. Artie was a man that would stop at nothing shefeared. Artie was the type of man that had to be in control. The way he ruleshis home spoke of the true nature of him. His wife Elizabeth was haute justlike him. She except everyone to bow down to them. The Queen knew why herfather in-law didn't pass the crown to them. Before he passed the King walkwith her in the garden. She always enjoys those walks. Something was troublinghim. She asked what it was. The King said let's sit here by the roses. Heslowly lowers himself on the bench and patted a seat next to him. What is itshe asked? He looks at her and said. I am happy you married my son. Iwant to talk to you about Artie. He is a very violent man. Always cunning anddeceiving. I will not allow the throne to go to a man like that. No, my sonArthur will be King, not Artie. You my dear will be Queen. You must always be on your guard when Artie around, the King said. I will she said. He sighs and lean back the roses always smells wonderful here don't you think. Said the King.

One day as Carolyn was walking with her mother the Queen in the palace garden enjoying the roses. Carolyn was smiling and singing a tune. Her mother asked way she was singing. Carolyn joyous whisper in her ear the word pregnant. Those words would haunt the queen for the rest of her life. Carolyn notice how quiet her mother was and asked what's wrong? Did I do something to upset you? No no, her mother said and kiss Carolyn forehead. You must not tell anyone please trust me on this, her mother insisted. Does Eden know ask her mother. No not yet Carolyn said. I thought I tell you first. Good said her mother. Tell no one of this yet. Ok Mom, Carolyn mutter no longer in a humming mood.

Later that night the king was informed of the news that face his daughter. She must go away for her safety, The King mutter. I'll make it a diplomatic mission so no one will suspect. I will miss Carolyn dearly said Carolyn's mother. The King hugs his wife it is for the best. We cannot allow strife to encompass this family. I know how jealous my brother is, the King said. The King held his wife hands and look her in the eye "I will send my brother on a diplomatic mission before Carolyn and Eden leave so he doesn't suspect anything. The Queen rests her head on his shoulder. I will miss them. The king hug her and whisper I know so will I. It's for the best we don't know how far Artie will go to get to the throne. The Queen looks at her beloved I will truly miss them.
