ConnorAfter our long workout i decide to go back to my room to get a pack of cigarettes. I really need to smoke one, it's vital.
I quickly climb the stairs to reach the second floor, the dormitory floor. When I arrive, I pass two police guards in front of Leslie's room, my ex.
She used to own the dorm next to mine and since she left, no one has dared to set foot in there until now.
I stare at them wickedly with my dark eyes. Her jerks better not go inside.
Since she left, no one has dared to step foot in there.
"Look closer, kid." Throws one of the guards.
"What the hell are you doing in front this room?" I ask.
The two policemen look at each other before staring at me.
"Mind your own business."
As I was about to walk away and go to my room, the door to Leslie's room suddenly opened. My body tenses up and I barely have time to realize that one silhouette is coming out.
What the fuck ?
A man in his forties stands motionless with his hands clasped against his torso in front of my ex's room. He wears a white rolled-up shirt and looks like an English literature professor in college. My emotions are painfully mixed together. Yet I had told the guard at the reformatory that this room should not be used by anyone under any circumstances. She strangely agreed and for years this dormitory had not seen any newcomers.
While I can already see myself exploding with rage and lashing out at this man, a second figure appears in my field of vision.
A pair of legs molded under a black jogging suit comes to plant itself beside the other jerk. My eyes quickly go up to his sweatshirt of the same color then finally, to his face.
My eyes fall first on her pink and fleshy lips. Then they go up to her eyes, whose long lashes bring out the abnormal and breathtaking green color of her pupils. I remain blocked on it as if I were paralyzed. She stares at me but her gaze is transparent.
Her hair is a very dark brown, it almost looks like black. A few strands are fighting on her forehead. They are straight.
"What the fuck are they doing in Leslie's room?!" I exclaimed to the guards, still looking at this girl.
She flinches slightly, surprised at my sudden rise in tone. But she quickly recovers.
"Keep your voice down." Orders me from one of the guards. "That's a new one, and there was no room in the other dorms, now get out of here Connor."
I laugh nervously, is he fucking with me? I can feel my blood boiling inside my veins. I don't give a shit that there's no more room in this fucking dorm! She's not staying here, that's all! They don't have a say in it.
I walk furiously towards the two policemen. They know me by now, they know not to get me hot or I'll turn into a grenade.
"I don't give a damn. If there's no room transfer her to another reformatory."
