40 | day eleven

Chapter 40

I don't know what time Theo left, I only remember falling asleep in his arms. I was crying my guts out and having trouble breathing properly, yet he still didn't ask questions as he promised. I wouldn't even know where to begin.

After he showered me, we went straight into my bed and covered ourselves with my big fluffy blanket for winter. He put his arm around my and I moved closer to him to his body to get some of his body heat, because I was freezing. So was he.

"Thank you for taking care of me." I whispered to him when I calmed myself down a bit from the crying.

I can't keep doing this, it makes my heart and my head hurt too much.

He pulled me closer toward him and rested his head on top of mine. I could hear his silent breaths and felt his chest moving up and down. There's still something, something between us. I'm not even surprised - he was my first love.

"I will always care about you."

My body aches from the constant sleeping, my eyes are full on red from crying. Day and night, it doesn't matter. I just can't do this anymore.

Today, Pansy came to my door. Still locked, I didn't let her in just like anyone else, except Theo. I don't see a reason why I should.

"What's wrong with you?" Pansy asks with her typical unemotional voice.

"I'm sick," I lie.

"Yeah, well could you at least unlock the door?
Zion's worried about you,"

Zion is worried about me, not her. It's him who must've sent her, she wouldn't have came herself.

"I'm tired."

"Whatever, Louise. I'm not into your stubborn bullshit anymore. If you can't come out and talk to me like a normal person, I'm out."

She left after this, and no one else bothered me that day. I only sneaked out in the night to gather some food from the common room, because my body is starting to look unhealthy, like Theo said.

"I know you probably don't hear me," I send him a message through our minds, "but I'm willing to wait. Even though you won't talk to me, I will wait for you. Just...just tell me you're coming back..."

Another day, another silence on his side.
