Chapter 61
________
"Lou? What happened?"
"No, not there!" I panic as Theo turns to the girls corridor, "to your room, please..."
That would be a lot of explaining why I don't have my stuff in my old room that I'm not ready for, not now when the only thing I can think of is the annoying pain in my ankle.
"You sure?" Theo looks at me from up with me in his arms.
"Yes, just go."
"Lou?" Draco sends a message down the bond, again.
"Careful!" I shout at Theo, who almost hit my head against the stone wall. We don't need another injury.
"I know you can hear me,"
"Yes, I'm fine! God..." I accidentally say it a little louder than I meant, "I mean, no, I sprained my ankle..." I add after I realize what I said.
"Is it bad?"
Considering that my ankle is now twice as big as usual... "nothing serious."
"Okay, almost there..." Theo mumbles under his nose, his breath is heavy as hell as if he's about to collapse on the ground.
He finally manages to unlock the door with his wand and puts me on Zion's bed, because his one is covered with clothes. Zion's is always clean. How surprising.
I grunt as I try to make myself comfortable, which is almost impossible. Theo puts my injured foot on an extra pillow and...that's all we can do about it.
"You should go to the hospital win-"
"Forget about it, I'm going to be fine."
I will not let this Christmas be completely ruined by staying in the goddamn hospital wing. I can think of thousand better things to do.
"But it doesn't look good..." he examines it from close and winkles his nose at the big swelled red bump.
I throw my head into the pillows behind me with a deep sigh.
"Draco? I might need your help..." I call for him, hoping he's listening.
Not a second passes and he's already answering, "of course you do." He chuckles.
I roll my eyes, "on second thought-"
"Potions pantry, red flask on the highest shelf on left."
"Thank you, Professor."

"Hurry, or we'll miss it!" I shout at Theo running meters behind me on a thick, icy snow.
I can see the Hogwarts express afar, its honk already going crazy as he's collecting the last late passengers. There's no way we can make it if Theo doesn't hurry up.
"Easy for you to say with your new leg, mines are old and tired..." he breathes out.
He's right - the potion Draco told me about made my foot brand new like I've never made a single step in my life before. Even my one broken nail on the pinkie toe repaired itself.
Theo helped me to the shower and then we both fell asleep in his room, each on their own bed. The potion worked overnight and when I woke up, I couldn't be more than lucky to be able to go to London for the presents.
"Come on, grandpa, or you're paying us a taxi."
We eventually did it. The rider gave us a very scary look, but we did it. I chose the nearest coupe because of nearly collapsing Theo and closed the door to prevent us from any unwanted passengers. There are far lot more of them than people would think. Years ago, this train was just for the Hogwarts students and teachers, but for the last decade, they opened it up for tourists and visitors, too. Which is extremely annoying, but what can we do?
