Chapter 36
___________

Knock, knock.

My body automatically flinches when my silence is suddenly interrupted by a loud knocking on the door. I cuss under my nose.

Knock, knock.

I'm sitting by my desk in front of a huge window and doing some homework for tomorrow. Or at least I'm trying to. I can't make my head focus for more than a few minutes. Every time I get into it, Draco's face pops up in my mind and all I can think of is him.

Knock, knock.

"Fuck, I'm coming!" I yell at the door and put my legs out of the desk to stand up.

When my hand meets the door handle, for a second, just for a second, I imagine Draco behind it. I imagine opening it and seeing him, that would make me the happiest person in the whole world.

"Again?!" I hear Zion's voice coming from behind the door.

I can't fake it, my heart skips a beat.

I open the door and find him leaned against the doorframe. It's 11 pm, the corridor is dark and creepy, so I quickly let him in and shut the door before anything jumps at me.

"What are you doing here?" I ask and sit on the same place as before - my messy desk. There's everything on it, everything from a day old cup of coffee to a new one, from papers to mint leaves, crystals and tarot cards.

"Guess," he says and without asking for my permission, he throws himself into my bed.

"They're doing it," I roll my eyes and try to erase a thought of Pansy and Blaise fucking.

I haven't talked to her since our argument in the Great hall. Actually, Zion's the only one I lead a conversation with.

"Seriously, it's getting annoying."

I pout my mouth as I'm looking at him, desperate and practically homeless.

"You can stay here," I offer him.

He raises his head from the pillows to look at me like he's thinking about it, then he lays again. "I can't,"

"Why?"

"Your old man would beat me up,"

I can't tell if he's joking or not.

"I'm sure he wouldn't," I chuckle, "and he's not old."

"Oh please, like I haven't seen his jealous face when you were still with Theo,"

I take glance at him and laugh. I laugh. I haven't done that in a long time.

"Anyway, what did you mean with the 'again'?" I ask him.

"Oh, that," he covers his face with his palms, "just my little inside joke. Because I heard you. Once."

All the blood disappears from my face immediately. "Heard what?"

A chuckle escapes his mouth, "you, moaning, probably from a dream,"

I raise my eyebrows and throw the nearest thing by my hand at him. It was a pencil case. My face is straight at first, but I can't hold it for much longer, I burst into laughing along with him.

"You didn't!" I shout.

"Please, I'm sure the whole common room heard your loud moans,"
