Chapter 24
__________

I'm standing before the door to my room, my hand is already raised on the handle, but somehow, I can't bring myself to enter. I just got back from a long walk by myself around the castle to clear my head a bit after the fight with Pansy.

I'm not angry, I'm disappointed. All the shit talking behind my back made me sick to my stomach, especially on such matter as sex. If Theo is so unhappy with me, why not tell me? Why tell stupid Blaise who tells Pansy? And god knows who else...I don't even want to know.

I shouldn't feel embarrassed, but I do. They're all embarrassing me for not fucking with him enough, they're making it my fault. And maybe it is. I don't even know why I'm with him anymore.

I'm mad at everyone and in no mood to see them just yet. My head is not cleared up enough, my thinking isn't straight. What would I do? Come into the room and pretend that nothing happened between me and her? We've never had a fight like this, I don't know how to act.

So I leave the common room, headed to Draco's office. I just hope he's here and not at home. But from what I've heard, I don't think he's coming home any soon.

It's so good to have someone you can escape to. Someone you can run to and hide from all your troubles and fears. If only he came here sooner.
I make sure no one sees me walking toward his office and by the time I get to the door, they're already opened with him standing in it.

"How did you know?" I ask him when I get closer.

He's in his comfort clothes - a pair of black sweatpants and tight white T-shirt. Tight enough for me to see his strong muscles.

He shrugs his shoulders, "felt it."

"Can I stay for a while?" I realize my voice sounds tired.

"Always."

He lets me in and shuts the door after. His office smells a bit different than from the last time I've been here - I smell more coffee, less cigarettes. It's tidied up as always, I make my way to the couch and throw myself on it.

"Tea?" He asks me from the little kitchen he has in the corner of the office.

I shake my head, "No just...come to me,"

He looks at me and eyes me from up to down, his eyes are stuck on my bare thighs as my skirt rolls up a bit more than usual, then he nods and walks to me.

Draco sits next to me, his hand immediately lands on my left knee. Oh. Oh...he wasn't looking at my thighs, but my knee that I damaged yesterday on the stairs to the astronomy tower. I didn't have time to heal it.

"Who did this to you?" He asks me with serious voice and lifts his eyes to meet mine, "did anyone punch you?"

An absurd look appears on my face. Who would punch me? That'd be the last thing they did.

"No, no. I did...yesterday as I was rushing to the tower,"

He stands up with no words and walks to the back of the office. Meanwhile I check my phone, because it's been buzzing.

Pansy: where the hell are you?

I roll my eyes and turn my whole phone off. Draco gets back with a bunch of bandaids and potions in his hands. He puts it on the table and kneels down toward me, his hand lands on my knee, paying attention to not touch the wounded part.

"It's okay, seriously-" I mumble, but he just shushes me.

"I'll take care of you, since no one else will," I wonder if he meant Theo.
