(Olivia's P.O.V)

I felt like the spark was slowly going in my marriage. Elliot was away most of the time and I missed him. I knew that I had been working too, but we were like passing ships. If I was asleep, he would be wide awake. I would get the occasional text, but sometimes I was too shattered to answer it.

As I walked into our bedroom, I opened up our special drawer. It was full of things that we had collected over the years. We used go for walks in Central Park when we were out working on a case. He would buy me an ice cream. We would talk about personal things..

Back then, we were just friends. Both of us agreed to be just that. Sitting down on the bed, I looked through some more stuff. Maybe we needed a few nights away to just be us. We've been parents for that long that we have forgotten how to be us.

Hearing my phone, I answered the call. It was Anyana.

"Hello. How are you?" She then said that she was alright. "Oh good. Is Elliot okay?"

Sighing, I just knew what she was going to say. "What hospital is it?" Getting my coat on, I then put her on loudspeaker.

"Lennox Hill Hospital. I'll meet you there.' Thanking her, I texted the kids.

On my way there, I grabbed a coffee. I was always worried about Elliot when he was on the job. Once I got there, I parked up.

Heading inside, I saw Ayana sat in reception. "Hey Olivia." Hugging her, we went to find a doctor.

'Hi.' The doctor then explained more. 'He has bruises. Mainly on his chest. He has cuts on the side of his face. On his left side. He was very lucky. He has a mild concussion as well, but we have given him pain relief.' I asked the doctor if he has memory loss or anything.

"We won't know until he starts to communicate." As the doctor said that we go inside, I sat beside him. He looked so small. I just looked at him. Kissing his forehead, Anyana asked me if I wanted a drink.

"I would love a coffee please." As she went to get that, I just looked at him. Hearing the machine beep. As I texted the kids, I heard the door open. It was Nancy.

"Hello Olivia." As she placed her hand on my shoulder, I looked at her. "When we he want to stop playing cops and robbers hey?" I giggled.

"Never."

As she sat next to me, she asked how the kids were. "Your grandchildren are great. Ariel is enjoying things a lot more. She's progressing a lot in therapy." Nancy asked if she has had any more nightmares.

"She hasn't. Which is such an improvement." Nancy said that was really good.

'I'm very proud of her." She asked about Caleb and Paige.

"Well Paige is such a sweetheart. I have noticed that she has become more quiet lately. I think she needs some mom daughter time." Feeling something, I looked at Nancy.

"Hey baby.. it's me." He then coughed.

"Hi.. my boy." Nancy kissed his cheek. "My throat is dry." Pouring him some water for him in a cup, he then sat up.

"Ow." Rubbing his back, he asked if the kids were alright.

"They are fine. Worried, but fine." He asked if he could talk to them.

"Let's call them in a bit Ell." Kissing his cheek, he gazed at me.

"I love you." Anyana then came in. "Hey partner." He giggled. "Hey. Thankyou for looking out for me."

She smiled. 'Always." As I heard my phone, I saw that Finn was calling me.

"Hey. Yes. Elliot is okay. He's just sat here actually." As Finn chatted to him, I asked Nancy how Charlie was doing. "He's okay."
