(Pheobe's P.O.V)

Harper was with my mom for a few hours. I missed her, but I was ready to get back to work.

"She's back!" One of the guys hugged me. "Hey Spencer." He asked how I was doing.

"I'm good thankyou. Being a mom has been amazing so far." He smiled. "That's great to hear." He had two children. His wife was a nurse.

"Did you wanna grab a drink before we head out?" Saying no politely, I went upstairs to find my boss.

Knocking on his office door, I heard his voice.

"Hey Phoebe. Welcome back!' Sitting down, I smiled. "Thankyou." As he spoke to me about what was coming up, he asked how I was.

"I'm getting there. It's a lot better now that she's getting older. She's adorable.' He then said that he was happy. 'These guys are pretty good.' He then ran through a case that we were investigating at the moment.

'Alan Palmer is fourty five years old. He's been in and out of prison for years.. and he is up to his old tricks again.' As my boss showed me CCTV pictures, I heard my phone ring. It was Finn.

'Excuse me.' Heading outside, I answered. 'Hey babe. Is everything okay?' He said yes. 'Your mom called me. She said that Harper has tummy ache.' My poor little girl. 'Aw..' He then ressaured me. 'I am sure that she will be okay. I'll take some medicine over there.' Thanking him, he then asked me what it was like being back at work. 'I like having my routine back. It keeps my mind busy.' He then said that he would text me when he was at my mom's. Looking at the picture of her on my phone, I instantly felt guilty.

'Hey.. are you okay?' My boss stood by the office door. 'Yes. Harper is just a bit poorly, but my boyfriend is taking care of it. Now where were we with these pictures?'

(Finn's P.O.V)

Getting the medicine, I also got some orange juice for Melinda. I missed our little girl when me and Pheebs were at work. She was only six years old. She loves dancing, horses and coloring. She loves the older kids in the family. Knocking on the door, Melinda smiled at me.

'Hello Finn.' As she hugged me, I asked how Harper was.

'She has been crying and she said that she has tummy ache.' I followed Melinda upstairs. 'Sweetie.. daddy's here.' She looked at me. I smiled. 'Daddy..' I cuddled her. 'My tummy hurts.' Melinda giggled. 'I may have given her an extra scoop of ice cream after dinner.' Smiling, I said that grandparents are supposed to spoil the kids. 'I won't tell Pheebs.'

Smiling, I asked my little girl if she could sit up. Then, I gave her some medicine. 'It tastes strange Daddy.' Kissing her cheek, I thanked Melinda. As she went to get her backpack, my daughter then asked me what I did at work today.

'Well, I did some boring stuff and then I got to catch some monsters.' Kissing her cheek, she hugged me. 'Here we go.' As I put her backpack over my shoulder, Melinda kissed her goodbye.

'Bye Gran. I love you.' She then said that she loved her as well. 'Thankyou again.' As I opened the car door, Pheobe had texted me.

Hey you.

How is our little munchkin? I am missing you. xx

As I sat in the car, Harper asked me a question. 'Can we have something speical for dinner please?' Looking at her, I said yes. 'How about I make my pasta surprise?' She then laughed.

'That sounds tasty Daddy.' Starting the car, I then drove to the supermarket. Picking up some bits and pieces, I saw a card. I wanted my girlfriend to know how much she meant to me. I also picked up a bottle of white wine. 'Daddy! Look.' There was a packet of coloring pencils with a book full of pictures. It was animal themed. 'Please?' Caving in, I put it in the trolley. As she sang when I was walking around, I looked at her. She was just like her mommy.
