Chapter 74♡

(Amanda's P.O.V)
Sitting down with Carisi, we went through the plans for the wedding.

"So, your sister and her husband along with your two nephews are coming to Greece with us right?" As he made some cups of tea, he nodded. As he sat down, I just gazed at him. "I love you." Smiling, I said the same. As he said yes, he also asked about his mom. "Yes. Would you like her to sit with your sister and her husband?' He said yes. "She will feel more comfortable." Writing down some options for a wedding dress, I knew that our daughters were excited about going abroad for the wedding. We were also going  to tell them that we were in the process of fostering Matteo.

He was a sweet kid. But, we know that we had a journey ahead of us. "So, I can do a dress day next week. Then, we just need to look at dates for when we can discuss doing our cake tasting and stuff." Carisi said that would be nice. "Oh, I haven't forgotten your nephews either." My girlfriend was so caring.

Sipping my coffee, I thought about Matteo. "I had an idea about welcoming Matteo into our family. I'm thinking of buying him a few guy things. Just to make him feel comfortable." My man was just so kind.

"That would be sweet." We heard lots of giggling from upstairs. "I heard Jessie on the phone the other day. I'm sure that she was talking to a friend." He raised his eyebrows.

"A guy friend or just one of her regular friends?" Carisi zipped his lips. "So, you wanna play it like that?" He kissed me. As I continued to plan, I asked Carisi about his suit fitting. "I've picked it babe." Blushing, I could visualize him just standing there on the beach.. waiting for me. Feeling butterflies in my stomach, I smiled.  'Mom!' Billie came running downstairs. 'Hey.. what's up?' She asked if we could talk. 'In private?' She nodded. As Carisi took the laptop, I went outside with Billie. 'What's up sweetie?' She then started blushing. 

'Okay.. I might like someone at school.' I smiled. "Sweetheart.. that's really sweet." She blushed a lot more.

'His name is Jacob and he's in my PE class." She was smiling as she was talking. "That's cool." She then told me that they had been texting a lot. "Mom? What does it mean when a guy sends a few smile face emojis?' I said that he might be starting to like her back.

"But, I would you like to know one thing." She looked at me. "Do it for you. Be yourself." Hugging her, she asked about our next bridesmaid dress fitting. "Well, I'm planning it for this weekend. I'll text your aunties in a bit." Heading back indoors with her, Jessie giggled.

"Dad's doing something sneaky!" Looking at my man, he blushed. "Carisi?" Billie joined her sister on the couch. "What do you wanna watch sis?" As they chose a tv show, I looked at my man. "What are you up to?" His phone bleeped.

"I'll be back in a bit Amanda. Love you." Giggling, I texted the girls.

(Axel's P.O.V)

"But dude... do you like her?" I was on the phone to Caleb. He needed some advice. "Oh.. what's been happening?" Trying not to gag when he told me, I said that it was normal to feel the way he did. "I know that it's embarrassing." Me and Lexi were still getting to know each other.

"Yeah.. can you talk to your dad about it?' He then said yes. "Okay." We then spoke about suits and stuff for the wedding. "Dad said that he's going to look for suits with me."

"That's nice." As we continued to talk, I heard Mom. She was talking to Alex I think.

"So, what are you doing the night before your Mom's wedding?" I said that I wasn't doing much. "I think that Dad wants to chill with some pizza and beers. Mom doesn't know that though." Caleb giggled. "How about we chill out though?"

I said that we could. "I'll text you. Thanks for the advice." Seeing a text from Lexi, I smiled. Replying, I went downstairs. "Hey son." Mom kissed my cheek. "Hey Mom. Are you okay?' She said that she was fine.

"How's Lexi? I know that smile." I said that she was okay. "I'm just texting her right now actually." She then said that she was cooking soup.

"I thought it would be a change." As she sat down at the table, she said that she was just finishing paperwork off.

"I am signing something to say that a client is nearly finished with my sessions." As she went to check on the soup, I texted Lexi back. We had been friends for a while now. Some of our other mates at school have noticed that we had been talking a lot more. I liked her. But, I still had stuff to work on. Lexi understood. We had talked a lot about stuff.

"Where's Dad?" Mom said that he was on his way back. He had become obsessed with wanting to build our man cave. Mom secretly wanted to have another baby though. "Mom?" She turned around. "Yes Ax?" I then said that I loved her.

"I love you too Axel." Hearing the front door, Dad walked in. "Hey to my two favourite people." He rubbed my shoulder. "How was your day son?" I said that it was good.

"How was your day gorgeous?" It was nice to see him and Mom be affectionate with one another. "It was good actually." As he went to sort himself out, I looked at Mom.

"Talk to him. He'll know that something is up." Getting the cutlery out, she kissed my forehead. "When did you become so smart?' Shrugging my shoulders, we made some drinks. "Baby, Where's my jogging bottoms?' Mom then said that they were in the wardrobe. "Hurry up."

Sitting at the table, Mom asked me a question. "What are you grateful for?" Sitting there in thought, I said that I was grateful for my parents. "I am Mom. You and Dad are amazing." Mom nearly cried.

"You are though." Dad then walked in. "Would you like me to dish up?" Mom said yes.

Once Dad had dished up, Mom asked him what he was grateful for. "I'm grateful for my family."

As we enjoyed dinner, I just remembered how lucky I was. 'So, how is the job search going Simon?' Dad said that it was going well. 'I'm thinking of going into security.' I looked at Mom. It looked like she was nervous. 'Mom?' She was in a world of her own. 'Yes darling?' I then asked her if she heard what Dad had said. 'Yes I did. It sounds good baby.' As we finished dinner, I offered to clean up. 'I'll do it. Thanks mate.' Dad then started to do that and I thanked Mom for dinner. 'You're welcome.' 

I knew that Mom felt anxious about what Dad had said. I just hope that this wouldn't be a long lasting thing..
